It's gonna be a fun watching those debates this Fall..

There is not and should not be a religious test to be elected into office. I will not vote for or against a candidate because of their religious beliefs.

Under Obama, gas prices have increased, unemployment has increased, government spending has increased, and so on. The only thing that has decreased is home values.

Therefore, I have no choice but to vote against Obama. The fact that he's a Muslim plays no part in that decision.

Funny. They get all bent out of shape if obummer's "religion" is called into question, and completely ignore his 20 plus year devotion to the "revrund" wright. Truth be known, I might have felt better about obummer being a "confessed muslim" instead of what he REALLY is, and what he sat and listened to, and apparently agreed with, for all those years.

No, all we seem to be heading toward in 2012 -- is the ultimate in voting for the lesser of two evils.

Abe Lincoln Quote On Bible

You need to quit quoting that hypocritical yankee tyrant.

He caused the death of more Americans than any other person in history.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Winston

Hi Winston,

I sure wish we had an Abe Lincoln to put into the White House today!   Yep, he is my hero and I love reading about his life and his presidency.   True, we had a horrible war -- but, we can hardly blame it on him.  Blame it on those who wanted to keep millions of people in bondage to support their lavish lifestyles.   Come to think of it, that does sound like Obama.

Blaming Lincoln for the Civil War -- is like atheists blaming God for them going to hell.

Lincoln's main goal was to save the Union -- for which you and I should be very happy.

As Lincoln said in August 1862, "If I could save the union without freeing any slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that."  Winston, I, for one, am very happy he wrote and signed into law the Emancipation Proclamation.

If Lincoln had not saved the Union, you and I would be living in two small third world countries -- instead of the great nation we call home.   That is, unless those two small countries had not been swallowed up by more aggressive countries.

Yes, sir, old Abe did us a great favor -- and, I would love to have someone like him in the White House today -- instead of the clown we have now.  What say we all nominate Ron Paul for a third party candidate -- and recover the Oval Office.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Add to that anyone who thinks unemployment has increased, and that gas didn't get even higher under Bush, and anyone who believes that the bulk of the current debt was added to by Obama.

Hi Jennifer,

This is great!   Are you also a history buff, specifically the Civil War and Lincoln?   My Friend, we have a lot we can discuss -- and your being an atheist will not even have to be mentioned.  We can be History Friends.

I am excited.  When shall we begin?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
