Just to clarify what might be taken as an untruth spoken by me. The Progressive Democrats of America are one of several factions inside the big tent known as the Democratic Party. Others include the Farmer Labor Democrats, the Liberal Party of New York State, the Democratic Leadership Council. PDA and DLC are national in nature, but the PDA is very much a grass roots group, but so far no chapter has formed in Alabama.
