Pointing out that trump has always been a part of the "elitist" crowd(that the "right" claims to hate) is  deflection?  The clinton's are crooks, trump is a con man, and weinstein is a pig.  I don't feel the need to defend everyone on the left.  I don't think everyone on the right is a crazy wingnut. Everything isn't a binary choice.

While correct on two out of three, you are in error on one point -- Trump as con man.  True, he's a NYC developer, early on in the Bronx and Queens. Then, went on to Manhattan.  He's had to survive in the milieu of unions, mafia and NYC politicians.  One doesn't exist by Marquis of Queensberry rules and thrive in that bunch.

One shouldn't always take what one is presented for granted.  Per Wiki, his father's estate was valued at between $400 to $500 million, plus  $10 million trust fund for his widow.  The first was subject to  federal death tax of 55 percent and a New York state death tax of 10 percent.  The remainder was divided amongst the four siblings.  At best, he received about $35 million.  Forbes estimated his net worth at $1.1 billion at that time.

Ah, he had a $35 million dollar head start.

Kylie Jenner is almost worth $1 billion, with 0 bankruptcies....

Like trump, she's not self-made.

Evidently, you matriculated at a progressive school where reading comprehension was not emphasized.  Go back and read what I posted, especially, that Forbes reported Trump was already worth $1.1 billion when he inherited the $35 million.

yeah I goofed.  My point still remains. He had help and a head start.

The Wall Street Journal tracked down a 1985 casino-license disclosure that showed Trump’s father lent him $14 million — a value of $31 million in today's dollars. Trump’s spokesman told the Journal he was referring to Trump's very first loan, a decade earlier. But it’s clear Trump’s $1 million claim understates his father’s assistance. In the 1990s, New Jersey regulators dinged Trump after his father bought $3.5 million in chips at one of his casinos.

We’re also unable to verify the value of Trump’s company because it’s privately held and he hasn’t released his tax returns.

Since, I don't work for him, I don't particularly care.  His latest project, which once cost the federal government millions, is now generating income for the government and himself.

The Democratic National Convention kicked off in Philadelphia on Monday, with multiple speakers calling on the party to rally around presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton amid protests from supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Singer Demi Lovato was one such DNC speaker. The 23-year-old took center stage at the DNC on Monday evening to perform her hit song "Confident," and to support Clinton while addressing mental health.

Lovato has publicly supported Clinton's presidential bid since January, when she appeared at a campaign rally in Iowa for the former secretary of state. She performed four songs, but she intentionally kicked off with "Confident." “I don’t think there is a woman more confident than Hillary Clinton,” Lovato explained. “I am voting for her because of her beliefs, her strength, and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment.”

Yesterday:

Troubled pop superstar Demi Lovato is reportedly in "stable" condition after being found unresponsive in her Hollywood Hills home Tuesday after an apparent overdose. The former Disney princess reportedly had to be revived with the opioid treatment drug Narcan before being rushed in an ambulance to a Los Angeles area hospital.

TMZ reported that the star refused to tell paramedics what drugs may have caused the overdose, and was not cooperative with EMTs when they arrived at her home.

Last month, Lovato, who has grappled with substance abuse in the past, revealed in a new emotional single that she had relapsed months after celebrating six years of sobriety.
