Yet your shelf is replete with books promising the imminent destruction of the Earth. Some of them probably date to the 1970s. No, you're not a profiteer -- those books are written by the profiteers. You're just the sucker who buys their garbage.

You see in 1844 and up until 1947 the return of Christ could never have happened! Why you might ask, there is a simple answer! Israel was not a nation during those times.

Israel as a "nation" is a concept going back to biblical times, and all scriptural references concerning that nation DO NOT refer to a nation-state in the modern sense. The very idea of a "nation" as we think of it today didn't exist until 1648 and the Peace of Westphalia.

The "nation of Israel" refers to the Jewish diaspora, and as such it "returned" to the Holy Land in the 1830s when the Caliphate reopened Palestine to Jewish immigration. That was one of the "signs" Miller talked about when he peddled his ravings.
Crazed mumblings of the "Used Double Wide Set" vs. the deranged rantings of the "New Single Wide Clique" as far as I am concerned, this arguing over pre- and post- tribulation/rapture/bema seat judgemnts/whatever is now current in the Oddly-no-longer-amusing-even-for-camp-value's-sake School of Protestant Theology.

And using the word "theology" is a massive tribute unworthy --in my humble opinion -- to some of the raves one sees presented here as "fact" and "godly."

Now I need to read something vastly more intriguing: a case study of the metadata of the digital collection at the U. of Washington.

On this day, humanity will have to choose between disappearing as a thinking species that threatens to destroy the planet, or evolving towards harmonious integration with the whole universe, with awareness and understanding of every living thing, of the fact that we are part of this whole and we can exist in a new age of light. Humanity must therefore be prepared to pass through the doorway that the Maya left us, transforming our present civilization, based on fear, into a harmonious vibration at a much higher level. Humanity will enter into a final period of great learning and great changes (beg. 1992 and ends 2012)
Ofcoarse, there are other prophecies that seem to line up with this date.

Oh my. I thought you were joking.

Is that the best you can do? I said "According to the Maya prophecy" I was asked I believe by Magi, so I answered her. I see you are following me from one thread to another. You need to get a life or read exactly what I am saying. You might get enlighten!!!!
And no, I was not joking about your brain being fried.
Oh, such wonderful memories of pyramid climbing in Palenque, eating fresh Ocosingo cheese, the smell of the coffee roasting in town in San Cristobal de las Casas . . . my $20 four star all marble walled hotel room in DF after the rigors of the Yucatan!

Didn't see anything very mystical, but there was a dead cat on the road from the village of Palenque to the pyramids that was never moved for two weeks and my colleagues and I renamed the street "calle Gato Muerto."

See, we could not easily discern the gender, so we ran with the masculine "gato" instead of the feminine "gata," making the proper adjective for "dead" "muerto" in place of "muerta."

I now recant my prior belief in Scientology being the apogee of space ship cults, having witnessed the Mayan-Masonic "connection" in writing and images. The numerology locked it for me.

I always thought the Masons were up to something with the Central Americans! Why else would we be over run -- an invasion! -- of the poor indigenous from south of el Rio Bravo? Masons! Preparing us for the Mayan takeover of society! Clear as the Mississippi in flood stage. Too bad that half of them are too poor to even learn to write or read or learn Spanish . . .
Gee Magi I haven't heard that in a long time.
Somehow, I missed the 21st. anniversary of the 1987 Harmonic Conververgence that was August 16/Magnetic 22 - Yellow Spectral Sun. I wonder how the Mayas knew all of this. And a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. No wonder I had some weird dream. I dreamed of people going around with tin cans on their head.
I will PM you on our next Spiritual Growth Meeting. Special invitation only.
PM me for sure about that meeting. I have been looking for something like that since moving here. Wasn't sure it existed.
Mark works with some pretty cool people at RA. We were invited to a seance, but it was pretty short notice, hope to go next time.
There is a woman there in administration who is an extremely gifted reader, psychic, Mark says you can just walk past her and know she is reading you. One of the things I like about Huntsville is the diversity. Very open minded.
Nightcrow, there is such negativity around you, are you going through some kind of difficulties? There are a lot of people who would reach out to you, if you ask.
Why do you make fun of people on this forum and their opinions? That is one of the reasons I don't share a lot about things that interest me here, because they are met with such derision by people like you. Can't you just be nice and agree to disagree? All the people I have met here in Florence have been extremely nice. That Southern hospitality you hear about is not just a myth.

My, I am sure your supposed "clients" loved you, darling.

Here is the Notorious C.H.O.: defender of big girls and gay boys the world over! And you dare to dis her! What gall! Margaret loves you!

Well, show me a picture of Maggio Cho. Please cut and paste or add an attachment. I am sure all wants to see it.
And, I didn't use foul language. As always, you perceive it as foul. Typical, of an angry person. So negative.
They do!

How odd, it shows up fine on my browser but here is the hard link. I think that AOL and other archaic browsers have trouble with things like pictures. That is why I recommend Sea Monkey or Opera -- all the kewl PC kids are using them now, and the ultrakewl Mac kids Safari.

Remember that Margaret loves all the little gay boys and big girls out there with no one else to love them!
