Actually, it took a while for me to understand the importance of that "Joe the Plummer" to the Republicans.
In fact, he is the perfect example to represent them:
> He is behind on paying his taxes
> He is no plummer
> He is not at all well-to-do, but acts like he is.
> He admitted he would be better off under Obama's tax plan, but still plans to vote for McCain.
> He dreams he someday will be able to own his own business and make enough money for McCAin's tax plan to benefit him therefore will for now, vote against his own self interest.
> He considers himself an expert on foreign policy, especilly Israel.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here...
The careful destruction of a private citizen, who asked a question of Obama, is questioned even in Europe. Use of Privacy Act information should result in prison time for a number of persons, I hope. Now, I see he is receiving death threats.

Instead of commodity cheese, I hear that Obama has a deal to bring in surplus stinky french cheese -- personally, I like it.

From occupied France -- occupied by six US expats and a couple of UK girlfriends.

I completely agree, McCain should be ashamed for taking this one man and putting the spotlight on him. On the other hand, I think he is enjoying his 15 min.

Losing his job and been threatened is not what I call enjoyment.
Notice no one condemned the left loon radio jock who called for Joe's death.

Joe the Plumber, aka Joe Wurzelbacher, has had his fair share of unwelcome media attention since he asked Obama his historic "will you raise my taxes?" question, but death threats have got to be the most unwelcome of all.

KGO radio host Charles Bouley, a staunch Obama supporter and gay activist made a public plea for Joe the Plumber's death (see video), what some are calling a death threat, on his San Fransisco radio show. Karel, who also writes for the Huffington Post, has stated that he wants Joe the Plumber dead after his question put Obama on the spot and revealed the presidential candidates "socialist" side.
This election has brought out the loons on both sides. Let's hope calmer heads prevail.
Calling for Joe's head was no worse than in Palin rallies calling for Obama's. Just crazy people caught up in the emotion of the moment I hope. Otherwise, we are in for another civil war, and there ain't nothing civil about one of those.

How should McCain get blamed when it was obama that came walking down Joes' street to begin with. Joe has stated repeatedly that it is his own choice to campaign for Mc or against BHO, however you choose to see it. He isn't getting paid by the campaign.

oh, and "plummer" is really spelled PLUMBER (w/ a b)
