Your post is a lie. It is not an illegal war. The war was voted on by congress. I'm sure anything on youtube is factual in your mind.

The video gives absolutely no proof of anything whatsoever. It's just a bunch of alleged retirees rattling off about their assumptions. Since not a single one of them gave the information to the President, they are in no position to comment on it's validity.
If this video or any other could prove that President Bush lied to go to war, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Bush would have been impeached and out of office already.

Really? Bush said himself that they were no WMD's.

So? In the same speech, Bush says that Iraq had the capability to build WMDs.
My statement stands...if you could prove he lied just to go to war, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Bush would have been impeached, convicted and out of office.

well now this is almost the most stupid remark i have yet to hear about the war. Capabilities? So now the US is going to police the world simply because countries have "capabilities"? This is going to be a tall order, the draft might just need to be reinstated ,,,and soon.
That war was begun just for exactly the reason that is happening right now. US invasion. Saddham would never have allowed our military to move in and westernize his country. He would never have allowed those big major US construction companies to come in there. He would never have allowed US influence and control over politicians in his country. He HAD to be put down, not just down, but DEAD,he knew too much trash on US politicians and deals, remember his past involvement with the US.

well the draft MUST be reinstated, if the US is going to police the world, cuz we sure as h.ell do not have enough military do it now,,,since we are invading countries based on WHAT-IFs,maybes and possibilities. DANG i wish somebody had told me WE are the worlds dictatorship.

Dictatorship? Nope, not hardly. Not in your dreams or worst nightmares. World's dictatorship? Not hardly. Both houses of Congress voted and approved attacking Iraq. Can't have a dictatorship unless the decision rested on one person and one person only. And that isn't the case.
Whatever it takes to keep WMDs out of the hands of dictators and terrorists works for me. As long as terrorists keep being prevented from attacking here on US soil, and killing US citizens.
In today's realm of terroristic attacks, you had better get used to needing to police the world, or get used to praying five times a day while kneeling on a rug and facing Mecca.

I laughed when I read this. Not a laughing matter but I still laughed. You have no real grasp of the cost of this war that was a lie. ALMOST 4,000 American lifes. Hundred of 1,000's of Iraqi lives. You scream "terrorists", and you have no idea what that really means. I can't even think there are people like you to think this war is worth it. It's so funny how we invaded Iraq, but we don't bother with the other 30 evil dictators in the world that kill 1,000's of there people every year. IT'S NOT OUR JOB TO POLICE THE WORLD. Our fathers have warned us of this.
I was in the Iraq war from the very beginning. I was not frightened to be there other than the "threat" of chemical weapons. That's some scary sh**. After WE, the US Military found out there were none there, we sat there in the sand and said to ourselves WTF. Why are we here. Let's leave right now. We get attacked EVERYDAY, I have lost friends for NO REASON!!! People like you are the reason I hate this government. You are brainwashed and you have no idea. Once you do your research and get out and talk to people your mind will change. We are still there because of cookie eaters like you that will no get off there butt and read and research. People like you make me sick. I think of my buddies that won't come home to there wife and kids every time I hear from sick people like you. Maybe you should do the same.

So, whatever it takes huh? I suggest you watch the movie "V", now showing on your local cable channels. Another suggestion, rent the movie "Wag The Dog", starring Dustin Hoffman. I can't believe you would actually give up your freedom for security. What is it about conservatives that they would be willing to give up their freedom to live under a police state, the new world order? Why is it conservatives support corporations controlling government? I just don't understand the conservatives point of view. Maybe you can break it down for me.
Obsession with National Security: Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
Bush Aides ADMIT 'stoking fear' for political gain: Bush adviser said the president hopes to change the dynamics of the race. The strategy is aimed at stoking public fears about terrorism, raising new concerns about Kerry's ability to protect Americans and reinforcing Bush's image as the steady anti-terrorism candidate, aides said.
The Bush administration periodically put the USA on high alert for terrorist attacks even though then-Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge argued there was only flimsy evidence to justify raising the threat level.

quote:Liberal spin about the number of soldiers kiled doesn't make the war in Iraq any less important. Maybe you don't have a concept of what a terrorist is...I do. As far as the "other 30 evil dictators", Iran is a starting place, yet liberals howl in anguish over mere sanctions there. And I don't know what your father warned you of, because mine certainly told me to be sure to defend myself and my family, whatever it takes.

My point was proven by YOUR very words! read your above quote C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y. Did I not make the say the US intends to ATTEMPT to police the world based on MAYBES,POSSIBLITIES,etc? SO now you we gonna "start" with Iran huh? Got 30 of em to bring into the fold yanno.
And please enlighten us on your expertise of what a terrorist is................
