The video gives absolutely no proof of anything whatsoever. It's just a bunch of alleged retirees rattling off about their assumptions. Since not a single one of them gave the information to the President, they are in no position to comment on it's validity.

If this video or any other could prove that President Bush lied to go to war, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Bush would have been impeached and out of office already.

Really? Bush said himself that they were no WMD's.

So? In the same speech, Bush says that Iraq had the capability to build WMDs.

My statement stands...if you could prove he lied just to go to war, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Bush would have been impeached, convicted and out of office.

"Trying to get Bush impeached". The battle cry of the inept. They've been "trying" for going on eight years, and they have yet to show any results.

They will not be successful. They have no proof, and they don't have the cojones to force it to an issue.

Bush will walk out of office at the end of his term, and all the posturing and bickering and blustering these groups have done will be for naught.

well now this is almost the most stupid remark i have yet to hear about the war. Capabilities? So now the US is going to police the world simply because countries have "capabilities"? This is going to be a tall order, the draft might just need to be reinstated ,,,and soon.
That war was begun just for exactly the reason that is happening right now. US invasion. Saddham would never have allowed our military to move in and westernize his country. He would never have allowed those big major US construction companies to come in there. He would never have allowed US influence and control over politicians in his country. He HAD to be put down, not just down, but DEAD,he knew too much trash on US politicians and deals, remember his past involvement with the US.

And the liberals and democrats followed up on that statement by Bush with what action? And they did what to end the war and take Bush out of office?

Nothing. Liberals and dems have done nothing but talk. As I said, no cojones. All their posturing, bickering and blustering about Bush is a waste of time, because it hasn't, and won't change a thing.

And if you expect sympathy for Saddam on any front, you are destined for disappointment.

Finally, yep...I'd rather take dictators and terrorists out while they only have capability to build WMDs than wait until they have WMDs stockpiled.
The video is of ex-CIA analysts saying Bush manipulated the evidence. The CIA was not saying they had proof Saddam had any WMD yet Bush portrayed it as a "slam dunk." A Phrase even ex-CIA Chief George Tenet is backing away from. If you can't see you were lied too then it's because you don't want to see it.

Bush and Cheney set up a special team on Iraq that by passed normal channels and "cherry picked" information that backed up what they wanted and disregarded evidence that showed they were wrong. Cheney went to the CIA and pressured them to "re-evaluate" their information, as ex analyst David Michaels is saying when he points out that CIA head quarters are in Langly Virginia and not Washington, DC. As he points out it was to keep politics out of intelligence.

The War is illegal because it was not sanctioned by the UN. At the end of WW2 the world decided to live by International law. The US is a member of the UN and bound by its charter. All Nations are bound by International Law. One of the charges against Germany after WW2 was wars of aggression.

The evidence that the Bush administration lied has been gathered by various journalists, ex-Federal prosecutors, lwyers and Historians. The congress will not act for political reasons as Nancy Pelosi says, "Impeachment is off the table." The speculation is they believe the war will sink the republicans in 2008 and the democrats will take the White House and Congress.

The people must demand that we hold our leaders accountable and demand that impeachment investigations begin. When the evidence is presented before the American people they will demand impeachment.

The corporate media are huge corporations that promote the interests of corporations and the "corporate class." They gave us 24/7 of Clinton impeachment and "Monica TV," yet even though more people now support the impeachment of Bush then Clinton the Corporate media are silent. They sold us this war along with the Bush bunch and the democrats, they are "co-conspirators."

well the draft MUST be reinstated, if the US is going to police the world, cuz we sure as h.ell do not have enough military do it now,,,since we are invading countries based on WHAT-IFs,maybes and possibilities. DANG i wish somebody had told me WE are the worlds dictatorship.

Dictatorship? Nope, not hardly. Not in your dreams or worst nightmares. World's dictatorship? Not hardly. Both houses of Congress voted and approved attacking Iraq. Can't have a dictatorship unless the decision rested on one person and one person only. And that isn't the case.

Whatever it takes to keep WMDs out of the hands of dictators and terrorists works for me. As long as terrorists keep being prevented from attacking here on US soil, and killing US citizens.

In today's realm of terroristic attacks, you had better get used to needing to police the world, or get used to praying five times a day while kneeling on a rug and facing Mecca.

I laughed when I read this. Not a laughing matter but I still laughed. You have no real grasp of the cost of this war that was a lie. ALMOST 4,000 American lifes. Hundred of 1,000's of Iraqi lives. You scream "terrorists", and you have no idea what that really means. I can't even think there are people like you to think this war is worth it. It's so funny how we invaded Iraq, but we don't bother with the other 30 evil dictators in the world that kill 1,000's of there people every year. IT'S NOT OUR JOB TO POLICE THE WORLD. Our fathers have warned us of this.

I was in the Iraq war from the very beginning. I was not frightened to be there other than the "threat" of chemical weapons. That's some scary sh**. After WE, the US Military found out there were none there, we sat there in the sand and said to ourselves WTF. Why are we here. Let's leave right now. We get attacked EVERYDAY, I have lost friends for NO REASON!!! People like you are the reason I hate this government. You are brainwashed and you have no idea. Once you do your research and get out and talk to people your mind will change. We are still there because of cookie eaters like you that will no get off there butt and read and research. People like you make me sick. I think of my buddies that won't come home to there wife and kids every time I hear from sick people like you. Maybe you should do the same.

So, whatever it takes huh? I suggest you watch the movie "V", now showing on your local cable channels. Another suggestion, rent the movie "Wag The Dog", starring Dustin Hoffman. I can't believe you would actually give up your freedom for security. What is it about conservatives that they would be willing to give up their freedom to live under a police state, the new world order? Why is it conservatives support corporations controlling government? I just don't understand the conservatives point of view. Maybe you can break it down for me.

Bush Aides ADMIT 'stoking fear' for political gain: Bush adviser said the president hopes to change the dynamics of the race. Liberal spin about the number of soldiers kiled doesn't make the war in Iraq any less important. Maybe you don't have a concept of what a terrorist is...I do. As far as the "other 30 evil dictators", Iran is a starting place, yet liberals howl in anguish over mere sanctions there. And I don't know what your father warned you of, because mine certainly told me to be sure to defend myself and my family, whatever it takes.

Keep spinning your liberal lies about "no concept" and "no reason". It won't wash now or later. Use your oldest battle cry, "brainwashed"...it's about worn out. Throw in a little "you make me sick" so that I know that you actually have no argument. Maybe then some of the other liberals will give you a "great post" or "well said" to boost your ego.

Have a nice day Big Grin

And you are doing exactly the same by sensationalizing the fear of fear, bringing focus to the Bush Administration's policy on terror and the implied horror of "giving up freedom for security". I've not given up any freedoms. Unless you are a terrorist, neither have you. There was no mention in my post of computer chips under the skin, or cameras in you home.

And if you think that a terrorist attack isn't a real threat, please let me refer you to 9/11/01.

And please enlighten us on your expertise of what a terrorist is................
