Never will anyone come close to filling his shoes, but I like the new man on on the plains pretty good And as for the alcohol comment, thats no secret! He had more integrity, pride, and dedication than any other coach of his time, even with a few drinks When people talk about the "BEAR" you rarely ever hear alcohol mentioned just his greatness. We all have our own demons.

when coach bryant was still at a&m , they went up to play arkansas. when bryant stepped off the bus, an obviously intoxicated man approached him and said "i'm your cousin". bryant replied "nah,my relatives don't drink whiskey that stinks that bad".
