Never heard of him. Even if I did, why is his opinion more important than our Constitution?

Again, I don't like it either. No more than I like the KKK or any other hate group.

But if the KKK wanted to build a center for hate on private property in front of the hotel where Martin Luther King was assassinated, there is not a dang thing you nor I could legally do about it.

Sure, raise hell all you want. Protest. That is your right. But do so without taking away the inalienable rights granted by our constitution. The VERY FIRST amendment (the 1st thing they wanted to correct) was our freedom to worship as we please without government intervention.

If the government steps in and blocks the building, it will be the end of the freedoms we all enjoy.

Bad manner or not, these people have a right to build.

Oh I agree with you..Should have put my personal opinion in as well as the link It was just a response to your quote showing that indeed some people are preaching against the idea that religious freedom should not include this particular religion based on idealogy as well as 9/11.

I think they have the right to build. I do think if its built it will serve purposes good and bad depending on what views an individual holds personally. Its location certainly suggest that at the very least..once built we will most likely hear about it in the news again..and again..either as more "look what they're doing now" or when some individual or group decides to take matters into their own hands and burn it to the ground or otherwise demolish it.
