The NSDAP appeared socially conservative on the surface. True, many gays were eliminated during the Night if the Long Knives against the SD.
But, many more found positions in the Gestapo. The french have a disparaging term for gays - tapette. In France, many of the gestapo wre referred to as gestapette and were considered particularly sadistic.
The NSDAP attracted some really nasty S&M types -- male and female. Check out their actions at Buchenwald. Lovers outside of marriage was common including Adolf, who had two. The first, a niece I believe, died under mysterious circumstances.
They also gassed jews, gypsies, the mentally retarted. Looking for pure germanic blood. They were conservatives socially. Its hardly a "stretch" to suggest that Nazis were social "conservatives". In case you forgot conservatives have traditionally not been too fond of blacks, jews, and particularly gay men and lesbians. It is not a stretch to make that comparison. Jews and blacks are still not allowed in country clubs. Wonder why?
S&M is not the soul penchant of the left.
