The Neoconservative Threat to American Freedom

By Paul Craig Roberts

Just as Goebbels said, some lies are too big to be disbelieved. It is this disbelief that is so dangerous. The inability of Americans to see through the Big Lie to the secret agenda allows the neoconservatives to escape accountability and to continue with their plot.

The Third Riech was indeed socialist in economic philosophy. Its social policy was extremely conservative and nationalistic. Much akin to some within the American conservative movement. The neo-cons are not pure conservative in philosophy. They apparently love to spend taxpayer money and run up deficits. Add to that their penchant for extream social conservatism and you have yourself some little Nazis - if not in pure form, in effect at least.
The NSDAP appeared socially conservative on the surface. True, many gays were eliminated during the Night if the Long Knives against the SD.

But, many more found positions in the Gestapo. The french have a disparaging term for gays - tapette. In France, many of the gestapo wre referred to as gestapette and were considered particularly sadistic.

The NSDAP attracted some really nasty S&M types -- male and female. Check out their actions at Buchenwald. Lovers outside of marriage was common including Adolf, who had two. The first, a niece I believe, died under mysterious circumstances.

They also gassed jews, gypsies, the mentally retarted. Looking for pure germanic blood. They were conservatives socially. Its hardly a "stretch" to suggest that Nazis were social "conservatives". In case you forgot conservatives have traditionally not been too fond of blacks, jews, and particularly gay men and lesbians. It is not a stretch to make that comparison. Jews and blacks are still not allowed in country clubs. Wonder why?

S&M is not the soul penchant of the left.
The Fascist Party was founded by Mussolini in the 1920's. Mussolini was a socialist. Most liberals are also socialists. The modern day Fascist party believes in a separate church and state. The modern day Fascist party is against capitalism. The modern day Fascist party demands free health care as a right instead of a benefit.

So exactly what do American conservatives have in common with the Fascist party? Be specific, because from what I've read there are not a lot of similarities. You can download their platform as a word document from this website.

Please elaborate with proof. From what I've studied, he wasn't really liberal or conservative by today's standards. He was simply evil.

No, Hitler used jealousy of the wealthy Jews to his advantage. He oppressed the rich, took away their possessions, and put them in ghettos. Then we all know what happened after that. Germany was suffering from a depression after WWI and he used contempt for the wealthy to gain support and eventually take control. Christianity never had anything to do with it.

Why is it when I ask people to prove their statements with evidence, no one can do so? It's very simple, I want to see evidence that Hitler would be considered conservative by today's definition as you claimed.
