pba, I can't help but notice that you have been posting some Libertarian leaning writers comments on this board, and that's OK with me, mostly stuff that supports an anti-Bush/Neocon agenda. But remember that most are anti-warfare and anti-welfare, and that they'll hammer big government types anytime, anywhere, regardless of party affiliation. So don't be surprised if the Dems take the Whitehouse that the critique continues.

I'm pretty sure that the Libertarian's motivation is different from the Dems. The Dems are mostly anti-Bush, because they want control, whereas the Libertarians are fighting for individual rights and a smaller, responsible government, which is counter to the Dem position.

I'll see if you keep posting Libertarian articles when the Dems are in power....

Miami,
Seems to me that although most people think the Liberterian position is more closely aligned with the Republicans, they are actually closer to Democrats. Think about it:
>Libs want fiscal responsability. So do Dems, Repubs- Largest debt in history.
>Libs want smaller government-- Republicans have given us the largest government in history, while Clinton cut the size of gov.
>Libs want individual freedom, Repubs want to control every aspect of your personal life. Dems push for individual freedom.
Just something to think about!
