Time out for a joke
A wife dumped her husbands breakfast in his lap. When he asked why did you do that? She relpyed because you are a loosy lover. The husband sat there a while and then hit her with the frying pan. When she asked why did you do that,he replied, because you know the difference.
bree, all you have to do is ask a question, then someone else will reply back with another question, can you play?

Uncle Gus,
Have you ever been hit with a skillet?

Mmmmmmmm, Can't we use both beans and butter?
Not making it again for awhile, don't wanna become addicted, ya' know?

Wouldn't beans and butter together be lethal?
Wouldn't beans and butter together be lethal?[/QUOTE]

But wouldn't it be worth it for some good cornbread?
My father and mother in law always did cracklins every year. Had lots of cracklin cornbread over the years...

i would love to have fun and i'm easily amused, are you?

I am so easily amused I get a kick out of throwing crickets (from a fishing trip) to the bull frogs in the little water garden in the backyard. What a hoot! How about you?
Well, that's more humane than sticking hooks through them :::shudder::: i always hated doing that.
A lot of things amuse me in some way. It's all in how you look at life.
A favorite is taking a book to the park and reading in between bouts of people watching.
Ever notice how some people's butts move when they walk?
The amusement is in how they move.
Some tuck, some roll, some look, as my grandfather used to say, "like two monkeys playing in a burlap sack"
and that isn't a question is it? (but that is)
you do know that you will have me watching peoples butts at work today don't you?
oh yea. And you do know that you'll now be more self conscious of how your own looks when you walk, don't you?
Have you ever been the person behind the car that had someone fall asleep in it?
one time about 4am I fell asleep waiting for a train (passed out really) when I woke up it was daylight, dont you think I was freaked out?
Have you ever sat at a busy intersection, and watched traffic?

I watch people everywhere and it isn't just butt watching. I notice things like pretty eyes or nice hair or smiles on both men and women. If someone looks worried or like they're having a bad day i send them good thoughts. Can't hurt, right?
I used to watch the traffic where I once was employed,( there on the corner of south court and Vetrans) and was quite amused, at what?
well, you said corner of S.Court and Veteran's (which is still Union and Spring streets to me) and if you worked at at Coca-Cola plant in the front window your back would have been to the street and the Holiday Inn wouldn't have given much of a view of the intersection and neither would the Help Center building....so that kinda narrowed it down, right?
I used to do part time work for a local P.I. and suveillance was my specialty. Old habits are hard to break, right?
I used to do P.I. work.
I wasn't offically liscensed as a P.I., but didn't have to be since i worked under a liscensed P.I.
Cool to get paid for people watching, eh?
Don't you know you could make some good money around here if you still did that?
Under cover or on top of the cover - either way! haha - hey, did I tell ya'll that I thought someone took my puppy? Well, did I tell ya'll that I got her back!! Aren't you happy for me??

Don't you know you could make some good money around here if you still did that?

I had the chance to get back into it about a year ago but had to turn it down. It can be dangerous and if something happens to me there's no one to take care of my son so i can't risk it.
The man i worked for killed himself last winter. His ex-wife owns the business and she is very good at her work. If you need a P.I. i'll recommend her, okay?
My (step) daughter has been one for about 5 years. She has followed in mine and her dad's footsteps. My husband and i were both B.E.A.'s, but i only did it when there was a female skipper. I don't have the killer instinct for that side of the business....lol.
My daughter does work for Mitchell's Bail Bonding and IMO that is the best agency around. Some of the others have been around a lot longer, but i think Lorraine M. has the better reputation.
Why not give her a call?
I will, thanks! I contacted another well known in the area but he only wanted a "mule", didnt want to pay. Does your daughter work FOR them or is she contracted TO them?
Daughter doesn't work on contract. She just does it when she's in the mood or, as she puts it, "i feel like kicking some ***...think i'll see if Lorraine has anyone i can go track down."
Guns, tattoos, pierced tongue, former bouncer.....i call her my Little Princess. Really ticks her off, ya' know?...lol

You Win! It has been 24 hours since the last post! Since Pf's post wasn't a question...Does Mr. KIA Win??

It only took 51 pages...he he

Just an observation!
I have a lot of buttons. Some are easily pushed.
Some haven't been pushed in years... know what i mean, Vern?
Stardate log 43007:
Boredom set in yesterday. As a result of said boredom i reposted my profile at plentyoffish.com.
I will wind up being glad i'm still single...or maybe there is a lifeform out there, somwhere, that will be compatible with my lifeform?
My puppy is a YorkiePoo. Don't you just hate best buy sometimes? Had my laptop less than a year and have had to carry it back to them twice - geez, does it get any better?
Sure I'd like to buy a boat - a big one with someone to pilot it for me, and a staff for the galley, etc. Cool

I haven't been HERE in a few days. Y'all STILL going with this???????????
well, i guess you don't know if you've forgotten or not until you have a chance to do it again, right?
I must have been thinking about scuba diving, have you done that?

Nope. Never done that. Wouldn't be good for a claustrophobe, would it?
To recieve one must also give, don't you agree?

I've always been more comfortable giving than receiving. Maybe because i've had more experience with it?
just a bit and considering i use to make my living helping people get over their's it's kinda funny, right?
doctor therapist, heal thyself...lol
I didn't work Tuesday so i went in today. Because of my son my volunteer job lets me be pretty flexible with my hours, but since i'm the only one that does what i do if i don't do it it don't get done and then there's more to do the next time.

I exposed a little too much of my deck on that thread so Im thinking I should leave this one alone until it turns around?
I enjoy my work, it's good to feel useful and productive. And i have a great boss. Does anyone else?
I have a pretty good boss. He is nosy as all get out though. Really gets on my nerves some days. Does anyone else have one that butts into their conversations even if it is a phone conversation?
Let me tell you, I have the worst boss of all. I promise you, someday I will tell you all about ; what did you say?

I have a good "boss" - he's retiring, though. Frowner

Anyone going to RELAY FOR LIFE in Russellville tonight? (Pray for the storms to stay away!)
my boss lives in Russellville and is very much involved with the Relay in Muscle Shoals. Isn't it great how people give to that?

Hey sunnygirl, is all that studying getting you down?

Didn't I tell ya I am done with studying? Two more days of student teaching and I am 100% finished. I am just waiting on grades and to see if I passed - Don't you think that is the most stressful part??

Do you ever have one of them days when you don't even answer the phone if it rings?
right. It does not bother me at all to let it ring. Did you know that I have had cell and house phone going off all day long (on my 1 day off)? Do you think I answered either one of them?
It would depend on the type of people. A hangout type crowd would not be good. Last time i was there i thought it would be best to have (an optional) straight entrance from the parking area to the bridge. As open and viewable as possible instead of the shady trail entrance. Or has that changed?
And wouldn't it be nice to have a solid flooring strip to make it handicapped and stroller accesible?
It is too high up in the air for me. Is there anyone else here who gets a little woozy when they are up that high?
I do if i look straight down so i focus outwards at the scenery. Do you get woozy even if you do that?
