At the risk of sounding 'insensitive', and keeping w/ the fact that a candidate's appearance comes into play when people decide who they will vote for, can you imagine how much worse Hillary will look 8 years from now?
Considering the high pressure job she has just undertaken, she may give Madeline Albright, Janet Reno, and Helen Thomas a run for their money.

Remember what was said about McCains age.

I would put my money on a George P. Bush vs. Chelsea Clinton in 2020 or 2024, if I were a betting man.

Zing!

Like the old joke: What do you get when you cross a crooked lawyer and a crooked politician?

A: Chelsea Clinton.

OR, What do you get when you cross a rural Texas ***** with an idiot who becomes the worst President since Jimmy Carter?

A: Twin *****s.

Personally i think Hillary vs Jeb in 2016 is very possible

Thoughts?

There is no way another Bush will ever get elected. Jeb needs to just be thankful that no red blooded american takes out the frustration toward his brother on him.

I'm still not sure those two were ever "crossed" in the first place. She's not Bill's type.

Q: What do you get when you cross a ******* with a **********?

A: BDS, flowing to wives and children. Very low class, but then I'd expect that from you.

Who brought up Chelsea? Not me. Got to be able to take what comes kiddo.

Actually, it was Gracie'sOldMan and HenHouseProwler who brought up Chelsea. But I'm sure reading comprehension is far from one of your strong suits. To clarify, the insult was to Billy and Hilly. Your low class, tasteless attack on Laura Bush and the Bush daughters is, frankly, just what I'd expect from you.

Then you should be neither shocked, surprised, or concerned. I really could care less what your opinion of me might be. We share the same feelings for one another.

Jeb is tainted thanks to his brother - but who knows? Ever notice that w was the only one with the faux Texas drawl? Wonder how that happened? Genetic misfire or brain damage?

1) And Caroline's qualifications for a cabinet position are? Kennedy Name? Liberal? Woman? Endorsed Obama?

2) You MUST have the Texas drawl if you run for Guvnah of Texas, and you CAN'T have a Texas drawl if you run for Governor of Florida. It just worked out that way. ;-)

1. Since when does being smart preclude being a U.S. Senator? Caroline Kennedy is brilliant and well educated. By the way, being appointed to the U.S. Senate to fill a vacancy is not a "cabinet position".

2. The drawl was totally fake. Just like w.

And yet the man was elected President. Twice. And Governor of Texas. Some might call that "totally successful".

Typical liberal mindset - Kennedy is liberal so she must be smart and therefore should be a Senator; Bush is not liberal so he must be dumb and a big fake who deserves to be trashed by people who've never achieved a fraction of what he has achieved.

Call him a fake if you like, just don't make the mistake of comparing CV's with him.

Bush did not win the popular vote in his first election and instead took it through a Constitutional technicality. I would hardly call that "totally successful". I would call it luck. Obama won with more of the vote than bush did in EITHER of his elections. bush may have won, but he has been a failure as a leader. I would hardly call his tenure as President "totally successful".

I would also like to point out that Caroline Kennedy has a degree from Harvard and Columbia Law. She IS smart and accomplished. Has nothing to do with her politics. Also, I never said bush was dumb. He may be smart, hes just a terrible President, a pandering fake, and a "winner" who turned out to be a loser.

Good,"kiddo should be a regular part of your vocabulary during the Obama/Biden administration then.

Still have not answered the question. Why is w the only one in his family who speaks with the accent? Hmmmmm?

"Constitutional Technicality". Hmmm. Could it possibly be that he won more states, rather than the one or two sordidly liberal states? If it weren't for that "constitutional technicality" it would seem the voters of New York, California, and Florida could elect presidents, and the rest of the country could simply stay at home. I love it when portions of the constitution that libtards disagree with are marginalized as "constitutional technicalities". How about that "constitutional technicality" about search and seizure, or forcing confessions?

Matter of opinion, but at least he has been a Leader, and has acted decisively. Wrongly, as it turns out in some cases, but at least decisively. We'll have to wait and see about Obama. As of now, it's not certain he could lead a lawyer to a trough full of money. I hope he can do well for the sake of the country. An indecisive leader is much worse than a strong leader who makes the wrong choices.

There are a lot of people who have graduated from Harvard and Columbia Law. It's only because her surname is "Kennedy" she's even being considered for the position. Jefferson did argue for a form of "aristocracy" when they were discussing how to build this country. However, I expect she'll do pretty well. One wonders if she could win in an election.

Never? I suspect you may be misspeaking.

Well, again the words "typical liberal mindset" seem to apply here. It seems you need to check the definition of "winner". Bush won the electoral college vote, and every recount that was done by government officials and liberal media outlets who were looking for a story. Then Al Gore sued (see Gore v. Bush) and guess who won that? Bush. Who won the Presidential election four years later? Bush. Elected Governor of Texas twice? Bush. What election contest has he ever lost? Sorry, but there's no way you can claim he is a loser unless you really don't understand what makes someone a winner (hint: winning).

CK may be well educated, but OBTW so is Bush. The difference is that he has actually ran for office and won. Over and over and over. She is no doubt a good person and very intelligent, and I'm sure that even she would see the irony in your belief that Bush was hand-picked by a court on a constitutional technicality as you call it, but you think it's perfectly OK for a liberal with no relevant experience to be hand-picked to the Senate. You can't have it both ways.

----------------------------------------------

never saw the question and I'm not an historian on the Bush family, but his dad H.W. was born in the northeast, Mass. or Maine, and didn't come to Texas 'til the late 40's or early 50's. So, W spent his early years in Midland, Tx. and attended school there.
The family lived later years (mid 60's thru 80's) around D.C. because of H.W.'s being a U.S. Congressman, then U N ambassador, later dir. of CIA, VP and finally President, so the younger siblings, if that is who you are comparing accents to, spent very little of their 'formative' years in the great state of Texas and attended most, if not all of their schools outside of Texas..

Irregardless of that, you really can't compare.
I spent 31 years in Tx. and my brother, who now lives in Chicago, spent 45 years there. I sound like I just fell off the proverbial 'turnip truck' and he sounds as though he never stepped foot in the state. splain that.

You, KIDDO, are petty and bordering on a conspiracy theorist. By any chance, have you seen the Mel Gibson movie by the similar name?

I have many qualms w/ the way W ran his presidency, from spending to 'illegal' immigration, to giving Ted part of the Ed. bill, to not defending himself enough, but a fake accent, get a life!

What I am glad and thankful for, is that because W and his administration were so diligent in keeping other terrorist attacks from occuring in this country, we can sit here safely at our computers and still have the freedom to argue about it.
(and yes I'm waving my flag while typing)

Why do you give a f***? I've got a better question for you.Why is Obama a socialist?

O.K., It is evident that this has struck a nerve. w has his little faux accent because he is a pandering, cowboy wannabe who needed to grease himself up so he could work the crowd in Texass. He IS the only member of his family who speaks with that folksy drawl - fact. Why do you let this little comment rile you so?

Now, please PROVE Obama is a Socialist. In fact, I would appreciate it if you would DISPROVE that since w (along with MANY other supposed "conservatives") supported the Wall St. "bailout" that he is NOT a Socialist. You see, sweetie, you can't. Your reactionary, mid 20th century "Red-baiting" is so dated and ineffectual. Unfortunately for you, it just does not "resonate" with the American public like it once did. It is cute though. Reminds me of my uncle Myron who used to wear his WW2 Navy uniform and scream the same political slogans at any car with "Yankee" plates. He suffered from "shellshock" - bless his heart.

w was a lousy President of the United States. 9/11 occured on his watch. He started a "war of choice" and is responsible for its results and losses. I no more credit him with my safety than I would Guy Hunt. His faux accent is demontrative of so much about the man. He is a character invented for political ambition and dynastic accomplishment. He is not even half the man his mother is or his father. Wave you flag all you want. It will not vindicate w, or his lousy tenure as President of the United States. Thankfully it is essentially over, kiddo.
I knew you wouldn't comment on the subject at hand; the attempt to answer your question concerning W's accent and your obsession about it. But I did know you would go on another tirade. You must have too much time on your hands. What WILL you do once he's gone?

just for kicks, who do you credit for your safety? luck? aliens? good fortune? flying spaghetti monster? the good will and fine intentions of al queda? hamas?
One has a vision of w standing guard in his "Marlboro Man" long coat, "cowboy" hat and six-shooters drawn protecting us from "the bad guys". Hes a failure. His "wild, wild, west" approach to foreign policy has been a dismal failure. His administrations handling of Katrina was like watching a Chinese fire drill. He helped his party lose its "permanent majority" in the House and Senate, AND greatly contributed to Obama's victory. He found it very difficult to sustain an approval rating above 50% and will limp out of office with having enjoyed the lowest approval rating in modern Presidential history. I know many of you find all this annoying, but the facts are the facts. The battle is over and your man won but ended up being a loser in the end. I can understand how my remarks about his faux accent must have just been the thing that put you all over the top. My little kiddos.
