Sounds like the agency has it under control. An investigation is underway and one officer has already been suspended.
Would you like a firing squad?
Do you have video of the 800,000 Officers in the US that did nothing wrong?

You would think that policemen should know by know they can't get away with beating people senseless. There are videos everywhere!

However erroneous these officers were in their decision, I'm sure at the moment they thought that they were performing a legal police action, and that video was the furthest thought from their minds.

come now sassy, no way did these idiots think they were justified in their actions, which is why they completely fabricated and lied on the report. they knew exactly what they had done and after the ego/adrenaline driven rush was over and they had gotten to beat a "lowly citizen", they did everything possible to cover it up. Thank God for the video or this young man would be in double trouble.
I have agree with the cop bashers here. Those officers were wrong. I do however challenge you people who relish the chance to point out an entire professions shortcoming based on a few isolated events to say something nice about law enforcement.

I disagree. Tyrants and criminals have no problem justifying their actions to their selves. It's when they have to justify them to a higher power that they fall short. They were not "beating" a lowly citizen in their minds...instead they were exacting some street justice on a rioter who happened to be where they thought he shouldn't. After the action came realization of what they had did, and tried to do damage control with the fabricated report.
I have no problem with video. I've used video for years on my police actions.
