The Times-Daily has a headline saying "Thesbian"! Is that a Lesbian Actress? I assume they meant Thespian, but who knows.

I agree with YOU on the spelling... looks like either Times Daily knows something we don't, or that they make typo's too! lol
Yes, I would suppose that Ellen Degeneris and Rosie O'Donnell are thesbians. 
(There are a few others that are closeted which come to mind, but I'll keep my yap shut in order to avoid lawsuits!)

I believe thespian just means an actor or an actress, but I think(?) it's more to do with the theatre (on stage).
I know what Thespian means. It is Thesbian I am wondering about. I can only conclude it means "Lesbian Actress."

Ellen, Rosie, Patsy Kelly, Dame Judith Anderson,Marjorie Main (Ma Kettle), Sarah Gilbert (Roseannes daughter), Greta Garbo,and several others were and are lesbian thespians. There is a term "thesbian" which I found in the Urban Dictionary - it was just too confusing.

If part of living a life includes loving someone else - heterosexuals dont shy away from telling the world about it. Try not to let it bother you. This is a big world full of lots of different people with lots of differt opinions. The discussion of the term "thesbian" - is hardly cause for such great consternation. Save your ire for something important.
I think it was typo or a headline writer who can't spell. thes-b-ian as opposed to thes-p-ian. Oh well.
Probably a typo, but a Thesbian would be an inhabitant of the Greek city of Thebes. A couple of hundred stood with the Spartans at Thermopolya. didn't make it into the "The 300" though.
