Gas prices always go up when heavy travel is expected. I honestly thought it was because of mother's day. Vacation time is upon us. They did it,because they can.
Yep, yep. Summer is coming and folks will be traveling.I know my family and I are going to Fl. at the end of this month.Yes, anne they do it because they can. If we want to visit far away loved ones we have no choice but to pay these high gas prices. 
If we learned anything in the past eight years, its that the president sets the gas prices.

Good point. Maybe if there was one blend that worked all year long, in all states, the production wouldn't be interrupted, resulting in overall lower prices and more consistent prices. Could our government ever adopt such a obviously simple plan?

Somebody asked me the other day if I was going to blame the high gas prices on Obama like I did Bush.
I guess this goes to show you that's the way politics is no matter what the party is.

Those who speculate in oil futures know no party loyalty. Besides Obama would prefer that the price of oil remain high. The sale of biofuels and other green alternatives require high priced oil.
