Even I have to agree with you on this one.
Deportation is an easy out for the local govt. with no expense of a trial and little publicity. I believe the locals have primary jurisdiction in a case like this. They are only required to notify ICE and the consulate of his country.
He will simply return with new forged documents. Convict him, send him to prison then deport him. Don't turf this off to the feds as an easy out.

This sounds like a guy who might not live long no matter where he is.
Until we enforce the law we waive our right to complain about what these "opportunists" do.
Well it goes hand in hand with the hands off don't want to offend approach our government has. If a man is pulled over and asked for his green card -- that is discrimination. So a school technically has to assume that all of the information they are given is legit and let sickos like this enroll as 7th graders. All borders should be locked and all people -- immigrants and not -- should have to produce everything including a blood sample to prove they are here legally. Oh wait, that means Obama might get deported too.......nope they'll never let that happen. This country is losing it's mind trying to be "politically correct" and now it's putting our children at direct risk. This is ludicrous.
BTW -- I have no problem proving who I am, that I was born here and producing substantial evidence to prove those facts. If I don't and i'm a born here citizen -- why should anyone else have a problem with it -- unless they know they broke the law.
