Things to come at ECM

Well, I don't know where you got your info! but you are dead wrong walking... and yes I work in healthcare.

Just curious, are you an RN at ECM tinkerbell? Because it IS TRUE, ask any RN at ECM and get their story. What amazes me is the apathy of the population of the Shoals and Florence particularly in regards to what is actually happening to healthcare in this area. Morale is at an all time low at ECM and considering the rate of satisfaction for employees in the past: this is an emergency. Ignore the situation at your own peril citizens of North Alabama, until you have a hospital stay with a ratio of 1 RN for every 20 patients.
Maybe when you can't get an IV drip someone will start to take notice of what is really going on at ECM.

UhMMM yes, and the ratio of RN's to patients is what it has always been. The patient satisfaction is higher than it has been in the past and from my station, all I can see is the good. Healthcare is at an all time low everywhere, not just here in the shoals. I have worked in healthcare for more than 30 years. So I guess I would be one of those older employees who are on the way out of the door!! But I have a job and so do most of all my co-workers. If someone got a bad eval then they more than likely deserved it. There are a few bad apples out there... hopefully they will be weeded out and then the GOOD employees can take care of business and provide GOOD healthcare. Just my honest thoughts!!

D.M.W. if was afraid this might take place. But it happens everywhere. Nursing is a backbiting job and has been for years.
