Fur coat on a half naked body covered with tattoos of gang symbolism . . . makes me think bad things about him. You know, I can't stand seeing those baggy or dropped pants. Why would you show your underwear? Why would you wear two pair of underwear? I don't understand how that look came into fashion. Just what is he trying to say? (No, I didn't read the front page.) I think they published the picture to throw us off track.

LOL! They gotta do that with white underwear. The first pair is for functional purposes and the second pair is to cover up the skid marks on the first pair. Big Grin
Actually the pants around the hips is from prison culture. In prison they are not allowed to use belts and the ill fitting pants sag about the waist. It has made its way into HipHop culture and then into the general population. I personally hate it for a number of reasons. Fortunately for all of us as a style it will wain sooner or later. In popular culture nothing lasts for long. Remember "shag" haircuts and platform shoes? During those days tight pants were the scandal du jour.

It makes your paper look sleazy.
Pictures like this are no worse than underwear ads of half naked men or women on billboards across this country. I do not wish to see anyone's underwear. I have enough trouble potty training my daughter.
I remember when people would point and laugh if your pants fell down and your drawers were showing. Now it is stylish to pull your pants down and walk around with your drawers showing.

Sigh.

Wait. I just took another look...those appear to be special drawers, specifically manufactured to wear with pulled-down pants. It looks as if they are thoughtfully designed to avoid an accidental mooning.

Where can I get me some o' them fancy drawers?? Does Walmart have them??

I heard an elderly lady tell her grandson that the sagging pants came from the prisons where men were "advertising". She then asked the 13 year old "what are you advertising?" The young man promptly pulled up his pants and muttered "nothing grandma, nothing!"

Your theory is correct. They wear them low for easy access. This from a prison guard I know. They can do the deed quickly in cells between guard checks and even in the yard. Someone made up the belt thing and now boys are wearing their pants like that. I think it's amusing. Let one of them go to prison and they'll learn the meaning of the saggy pants REAL QUICK from Bubba. Big Grin

Is there a man (or woman) any where in the world with access to a tv or newspaper that has not seen her naked?

I haven't.

This reminded me of rather early in the presidential race when Fred Thompson was still in the running. Someone commented on his wife, so someone else commented it could have been worse--it could have been Lorie Morgan.

I attempted to find the least flattering pic of LM possible, so I keyed in "Ugly pic Lorie Morgan." What I got was LM in, shall we say, a compromising position with some unknown male. So when people say you can't accidentally get into "porn," I disagree with them.
The photo in itself is not vulgar. One might say he needs a week with Clinton and Stacey on What Not To Wear. What a dude wears in a publicity photo shoot and what he wears everyday are two different things. Would people be making the same fuss over some of Paris Hilton's publicity photos?

The man is selling his brand of music and whether you listen to it or not or like it or not, he's evidently reaching his target audience.
I think one of my favorite entertaining moments was when I saw a gang member wearing saggies tried to run from LAPD. He almost got away until one of them stopped laughing and brought him down.

When I was a kid, surfing, we would wear our "jams" (surf trunks) under our jeans. The jeans would usually ride a bit lower, and two or three inches of the jams would hang out. But underwear was not for public viewing...
