Did anyone else happen to catch the episode tonight about the girl from Florence, Alabama that drinks up to 5 bottles of nail polish a day? Her name was Bertha. That's the first time I've seen anyone from around here on a show like that. I have to wonder is this show for real? It's showed her drinking the nail polish throughout the show. Her favorite color to drink is blue with glitter.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I don't believe much of anything I see on television but the way this was presented it certainly appears to be real. I dunno. If it isn't real then do they just find these people and pay them to be on the show and act out a script?

I'm also wondering why she isn't dead. The doctor she saw on the show told her it was going to catch up with her if she didn't stop it. Her liver will eventually shut down from the toxicity.

Yeah, well I wonder about people who watch Toddlers and Tiara's but I pay my satellite bill and it's a free country so It's really nobody's business what I or anyone else watches. As for the toilet bowl comment, I don't get it but I'm sure it was an attempt at humor. I dunno.

How old was this girl? We use to have a hispanic maid named Bertha and her daughter was named Bertha. Then little Bertha had her own little Bertha at around 15. That would have been about 15 years ago.
