No one loves war. Some people jus feel that it is a necessary evil in order to preserve your freedom. It's is obvious that not everyone who disagrees with you is a "right winger" as you say. Most everyone has enough common sense to realize that your only cause is to discredit Bush and other Repblicans o a daily basis. I think most Republicans feel that this war has been mishandled and needs to end as soon as possible. That's how I feel at least, but even Democrats who hoot and hollar about getting the troops home now realize that would not be the best thing to do until the Iraqis can pick up the slack.
The only thing you make people think about on this forum is how out of touch you are with the people of this forum.
Nice post. I know what pba's agenda is and therefore I just don't look at his posts. I learned that very early on when I first got on this board. I'm conservative Republican, always have been and always will be. Nothing he posts is ever going to change my opinions about anything. Democrats and Republicans have never liked each other and I just don't ever see that changing.
See that is the problem, Republicans and Democrats. Like Alabama and Auburn. Like Church of Christ and Baptist. It amazes me how people in the south think and have always thought. Oops. PBA, you've done it now. You're going straight to hell, criticizing the south. See, everybody wants to associate everything as a republican and democrat thing. You don't want to learn nothing new and you refuse to let your children read any other literature other than your own literature. This is the way the Roman Catholics did back in the Roman Empire days. They controlled their people.
I'm an open minded person. I've been accused of being liberal, socialists, and God knows what, because you judge me from the posts I put up. And I have stated many times that just because I post it does not mean that I agree with it. And most of you people, all you can do is slander me, call me names, and will not debate the issue. But you fill the posts up with nonsense. How can you learn if you don't read? How can you question how somebody thinks unless you discuss it? I like to know what makes people think the way you do. I have not been able to figure out your thinking.
Everyone on this forum, with the exception of two or three, is way conservative. And I'm not saying conservative is bad, but I think too much of anything is bad. Just like the woman who drank two gallons of water and it killed her. She did not know that it would kill her. See, I go with that term, "it's what you don't know that will hurt you". And a lot of you conservatives know but you don't want others to know. So you try to discredit the messenger.
The south has always put a road block to learning new things. If the conservatives had their way, they would still be doing things the way they did in the 1900's. Everything that you disagree with, you label it as liberal. I've even heard churches say "that church is liberal, don't go to that church". Conservatives are very rude people in my book, if you don't think like them. You cannot discuss religion or politics with a conservative unless you agree with them. If you agree with them, you're ok. Challange it sometimes. If you can't talk religion and politics, how else can you learn about religion and politics. Why can't we each respect each others views, whether we agree or disagree. By listening to you, I might learn something and vise versa. I just feel conservatives feel that if they talk to someone that they disagree with that it's going to rub off on them.
I don't have to worry about your judgement against me. The one I have to worry about is God's judgement against me. We all need to think about Americans and be civil. George Bush is your president. He's my president. But, democrat or republican, if the man is wrong, he's wrong. I vote independent, not the party. That's what's wrong with America now. You need to question your government because you are the government, not the politicians. We are suppose to be United States of America, not Divided States of America. And yes, we need to question the media and get them back to telling the truth. Folks, we are living in some bad times, and if you can't see that, you're blind.
Let me say this. I do not hate America. I do not hate you. I don't hate anyone. My Bible says a man who has hate in his heart won't make it to heaven. I love America. I love Alabama. And I'd like to see us all take America back.
