If Christ is God, he must have known the lie into which He would have let

His Apostles and His Church live by in adopting this hard to believe

sacrament of Christ. If the Church practices idolatry by the adoration of

bread and wine, this is a crime against The Father and the Son because the

Son said These are not my words but that of the Father. You will hold the

Father in error and also Christ when he intended to instituie the Eucharist

as a most holy Sacrament. He said this was to be part of his Church until

the end time. There was no other way to express the Eucharist except with

the most clear terminology and that didn't help either. The NT was established

in the blood of Christ as the OT was in the blood of animals.

You should remember Jesus knew how long he was going to be here on earth.

So everything he said in his public life was his last Will and Testament.

You are telling him he lied.

I guess that "up a notch" would be that point of time in history when God was

ready to leave the animal sacrifice for the fulfillment of the promise to send a

saviour to expiate the sin of Adam and reopen the gates of Heaven.

The blood sacrifice of Jesus is an event never to be forgotten. The Father gave

us the gift of the Eucharist so we could be in the presence of his son, if not but

for a moment, in a state of personal gratitude. How else could we do this

unbloody sacrifice without the power of Jesus.

We fail in our faith if we grant only the power to God to perform only the actions

we will accept and deny him the power for what we disagree.
