By kicking butt when those same people grossly misspell words or use abominable grammar or cite an article as continuing on page 3 when it is in fact continued on page 5. A good editor can whip people into shape.

Also, one would hope that the new management cuts back on the dreary, folksy personal columns that contaminate the TD and replaces them with real NEWS or with intelligent commentary on subjects that matter!

The best answer I can give you is that it would be nice if the paper carried all sides of the news, whether it be from the left, right, or middle. We need to know what's going on. We need to stay informed. I like to know what the left, right, and middle is doing. After I read about them, then I can make my own decisions. That's what the media is for is to pull out all the news, not just part of it. In other words, give us the full story.
