Am I the only one that is addicted to Tortilla Blancos chips? I go through atleast 3 bags a week. The cinnamon sugar are my favorite ones. They are better than any chips I have ever tasted. Just crispy, just sweet and just oily enough.

For those of you who don't know, tortilla blancos is a company in Athens that produces tortilla chips(both regular and cinnamon) and ships them across alabama. Locally they can be bought at Foodland in the shoals.

Sounds good but it's the first I've heard of them. Do you dip the cinnamon ones in something or just eat them plain?

I won't say I'm addicted, but I can see how it would be easy to get there. I like both, but cinnamon is my favorite. I try not to buy them too often because once I open the bag, it's hard to stop eating them. The cinnamon does not need to be dipped, they are just right. The regular ones are good with salsa and cheese dip, or probably any kind of dip.
You're making me hungry... I think I need to go to Foodland now!

The owner is a friend of mine and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! The restaurant was closed so that he could dedicate more time to the growing chip business. He also has his chips at any of the Coussons' convenience stores.

I, too, am addicted to the cinnamon chips. I can eat a whole bag without even realizing it!

They have their own fan page on facebook as well as being the "official chip" of UNA Football!

dang...oh well. yea i know the owner, or know of him i guess, and i believe i went to school with his brother. i've always seen the chips at foodland but never had them.

omg that gives me the best idea. Layer a plate with cinnamon sugar tortilla blancos. Cover them in a light glaze of liquid butter, honey and microwave for a few seconds..then..top it off with ice cream and whipped cream... Sopapilla with ice cream anyone?
