I don't own a pair of pants that comes up to my waist. Those, according to Clinton and Stacey, are MOM JEANS. I prefer a stylish, flattering mid-rise.
I assume the article may be talking about those that sag to the knees though. Other than just looking silly, why does it matter so much a person would be fined for it? It's not indecent. Most of those guys are wearing at least 2 pair of skivvies underneath.

riviera beach florida did this as well as many other places. i think it is funny that in riviera beach you can wear a thong banana hammock and be fine but let your pants sag a little and you get a ticket. i wear all my pants at th waist unless i am teaseing my son
I got a kick out of watching the fight at the State basketball championships a few months back. One young man had a pair of pants with the waistline below his hips, and every time that he threw a punch, his pants went to the floor. He spent more time retrieving his britches than he did fighting.

Several years ago when my son started wearing his pants a size to big and would not wear a belt, I thought ok this fad will pass,LOL well here we are somewhat 6 years later and he is still wearing his pants showing his underwear.
In my opinion, it is sickening to see underwear or the crack of his butt showing I am all the time telling my son pull up the **** pants or get a belt on. well the belt part did not work cause he would wear it so his pants were still below the waist showing his boxers.
I find it very disrespectful to see *** crack or underwear myself. I personally don't see why any girl would think that it is cool to see a boy's hairy *** it is just gross, but there again thats just my opinion.
I was brought up in a different generation that had respect for how we looked. When our jeans got a hole in them they were patched, and we did not wear cloths 2 sizes to big.
Kids today try to express them selves, I understand that, but good god they don't have to show me their *** crack or underwear to do that. They need to be educated on how to dress cause they are not listening to us parents.
No one is going to hire them when they apply for a job looking the way they do. I know I would'nt.

many schools wont let students wear shirts that have rebel flags on them, or certain bands that are mistakenly associated with satan because of the evil media, so it would make sense to make it against school rules to wear saggy pants. i for one say screw it and let em look like an idiot though, sense they're only targeting the teens and young adults instead of all of the other people that look unpresentable

I agree about Hawaiian shirts, ball caps, cowboy boots (except for real cowboys and cowgirls- but never a city person and NEVER EVER with a bolo tie), and tee shirts. My husband makes me nuts with his Hawaiian style shirts and flip-flops (Parrot Head), my son with his ball caps, and I hate seeing chest hair underneath a button up shirt on a man (how uncouth).
