Joy, this kind of thing is what makes people despise politicians.
If people would use common sense, none of the waste would be there and the country would not have a deficit.

I have to agree. Politicians and common sense don't go together. You can only have one or the other, not both.

Are you comparing our nation's security to pork? I do believe there is also wasteful spending in the defense budget, but defense spending is a neccessity.
