We all have breaking points and wisdom is knowing when to back away, for hopefully only a while. I, for one, will miss O No's contributions to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that she has made this decision but I certainly respect it and understand it. She will be missed and it's regretful that it comes to this but O No is certainly not the first nor will be the last that needs to take some time away. I know there are times that I feel like leaving it alone for a while myself but unlike O No who gracefully said her goodbyes I just stay away until I feel refreshed enough to get back into the fray.
I hope that one day, or on times of her choosing, O No will be back and share her opinions with us again. One section of Scripture that I have posted under many other topics I believe applies here as well, in the context of "true colors of a Christian". That section is begins in Galatians 5:22 and is known as the "Fruit's of the Spirit". Believers have God's Holy Spirit dwelling (living) inside existing along and ministering to the believer's inner Spirit. Not that all Christians exhibit these fruits or attributes but those who are living in God's will along with His Spirit will demonstrate them so that others will see them in their lives.
Galatians 5:22-26 (CEV)
22 God's Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful,
23 gentle, and self-controlled. There is no law against behaving in any of these ways.
24 And because we belong to Christ Jesus, we have killed our selfish feelings and desires.
25God's Spirit has given us life, and so we should follow the Spirit.
26 But don't be conceited or make others jealous by claiming to be better than they are.
The above, I fully believe, are marks of a Christian. I likewise do not believe that anywhere are we, Christians, encouraged or commanded to be Judges of those who either do not believe or believe other than that which we accept as the Word of God. If we accurately follow Christ example, given the recorded ways that He lived, then our interactions with those non-believers will be respectful and non-judgmental allowing the Holy Spirit of God to do the Conviction of People regarding their shortcomings and sins. There are times that the people of God are encouraged to Judge but that Judging is to Judge ourselves and our actions to see that they are within God's Will and according to God's Will and desires. The Church, it's members, and leaders are to Judge those members of the Church to insure that there is continuity within the Church and that no one threatens the Church but in those cases there are laid out descriptions that must be used. Accusations should be proven by at least two witnesses and the offender is to be confronted privately first taking two. If the offender does not listen and confess his wrong ways then it is to be taken further and finally all the way up to the whole Church. Those are the only given times that Christians are given to Judge others and themselves.
