Alot of history has been born and i would guess thousands have attended this kindergarten since its inception. Most of my family went there and it continues to be free. Its almost unheard of in this day and time. And through their 108 previous years, nothing bad has occurred or been said about Maud Lindsay Free Kindergarten. Im sure Miss Maude is looking down and smiling on all the good she has done.

I didn't go there, but I respect that woman for starting this.

But in my humble opinion, it wouldn't be on my list of the wonders of the Shoals unless one wanted a list of about 15 Big Grin

But I am equally sure that anyone who went there, or had a child/grandchild who benefitted from it totally disagrees with me, and I understand that Smiler
