Funny how some of the ones claiming to be "insulted", or decries this, are the very same ones that mock people's looks and other things, and calls them "perverts and brucies." In other words, the hypocrites on the left. Especially the KING of the lefty hypocrites.

Funny how YOU avoid addressing the issue I raised in my post of 2 hours ago on the Trumpster's insult to a handicapped person.  Yes, YOU of all people, who jump on others for  starting "new" threads on the same topic.  For the purpose of keeping it all in one place, I repeat below the topic I introduced earlier:

 Trump--New Heights of Despicability

Now he is mocking a handicapped journalist:

Trump and his allies have offered some attempted defense of this reprobate behavior, but no one viewing his speaking pattern and gestures during this outrageous outburst could reasonably conclude it was anything other than mockery.

Trump's a 5-star scumbag!

You have descended to a new personal low, Best, in your attempt to rescue Trump from  his

odious outburst.  Shame!

What's to address? He says he didn't do it and wants an apology. Different subject than your drama queen faux outrage. Name one person I have "jumped on" as you put it. There you go, fibbing again. I call YOU out for purposely spamming. The "objection" of the threads is when YOU start numerous ones on the same subject just so you can spam the forum. Other than that you old hen, you can have at it.

Trump is indeed entitled to attempt a defense, but what he did is indefensible. Have you even seen the video?  If you have, and then continue to doubt that he was mocking a handicapped person, then you are absolutely blind to reality!

Condie is deep into  an anti-Trump mania, resembling that of his anti-Palin mania.  Trump is riding a wave of deep dissatisfaction with the federal government.  Polls show a majority of people distrust the government and consider it too large, corrupt and unwieldy -- another of Obama's accomplishments.  Instead of citizens concerned about being Enemies of the State, the State is the Enemy of the People.  Distrust of government is a healthy American attitude, but I've rarely seen it rise to such heights.

The MSM is in the same boat.  Voters distrust the press, considering it to be the castrati choir of government and, certain politicians, in particular.  The more the press attacks Trump and others, out of favor with the liberals, the more the voters seem to like them.

TRUMP: The 'disgusting' New York Times owes me an 'apology before they go out of business'

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump escalated his verbal war with The New York Times during a Saturday-afternoon campaign rally in Florida.

Among other things, Trump repeatedly called the newspaper "failing," accused it of being biased against him, and demanded an apology from the paper for criticizing him after he mocked a reporter with a physical disability.

"The New York Times, which is in huge financial difficulty, which won't make it," Trump predicted.

"Somebody will come along [and buy it], some rich guy. Maybe I'll do it, ha-ha," he joked. "Some rich guy that wants to be relevant — that's rich but nobody ever heard of him, and he can't get a place at a restaurant. I have a lot of friends, they call me ... they're worth $2 [billion], $3 billion: 'Don, could you do me a favor? Could you get me a place at a restaurant?"

Trump started to launch an all-out attack on The Times earlier this week when the paper criticized him for mocking one of its reporters, Serge Kovaleski.

"We think it's outrageous that he would ridicule the appearance of one of our reporters," a Times spokeswoman told Politico.

At a Tuesday-night campaign rally, Trump impersonated the reporter supposedly retracting his 15-year-old story that mentioned allegations of American Muslims celebrating the World Trade Center attacks. Trump's hand gestures appeared to many, including Kovaleski, to mock the reporter's disability that limits his hand movements.

The Republican presidential front-runner responded by firing off a raging tweetstorm and multiple statements blasting The Times and accusing the reporter of "using his disability to grandstand." Kovaleski said he's positive Trump knew about his disability from their interactions over the years, but Trump has insisted that that's not the case.

Trump claimed during his Saturday rally that he was simply impersonating a generic reporter "groveling" while trying to retract an old story.

"I didn't know him," Trump said of Kovaleski, never using his name. "It's possible, probable, that I met him somewhere along the line. But I deal with reporters every day, many of them I never even see. ... He's using what he's got to such a horrible degree. I think it's disgraceful."

Trump also repeatedly insisted he would never mock someone with a disability.

"I don't mock people that have problems, believe me. Now people mock me with my hair, but it is my hair," he said.

But at the same time, Trump took a somewhat tongue-in-cheek approach being "politically correct" at his rally. He said he had his son find "exactly the right terminology" he should use to describe people with disabilities. He quoted an unnamed website saying terms like "a disabled person," "the disabled," and "handicapped parking" should be avoided.

"Even though people have handicapped permits," Trump added to laughs. "So it's so complicated out there. It's tough. No, it's tough. And we want to be politically correct."

Trump also used his Saturday speech to issue a scathing indictment of The Times' larger business model. He mocked the newspaper for a supposedly terrible real-estate deal in midtown Manhattan, and he called The Times' purchase of The Boston Globe "one of the worst investments of all time."

"These are the people that are writing editorials criticizing me and you and everybody that believes like we believe. These are the people. These people don't have it," Trump said. "I always say, 'The failing New York Times.' It'll probably be out of business pretty soon."

Trump closed out that segment of his speech by demanding an apology from The Times, which didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

"I think The New York Times, frankly, should give me an apology. I do," he said. "And I'd love to have the apology before they go out of business."

None of which has anything to do with the topic under discussion, namely Donald Trump's callous mockery of a handicapped person.  Trump says, "I don't know him," which is a bald-faced lie.  He and the handicapped reporter have interacted numerous time in the past and on an amicable basis.  Trump most certainly did know who he was mocking. The man is a boorish clod.

And, I need not heed the ravings of a boorish clod who attempts to instruct me of what I may comment on.

Beternnun thinks the lefties are the only ones allowed to "mock" people, and when accused of such, whether falsely or truthfully, Republicans are not allowed to defend/explain themselves. He even thinks he has some sort of right to say what should and shouldn't be posted during a discussion, and what someone can and can't make the subject of a thread. Just see how upset he gets when someone refutes his crap with facts, and the "so's yer old man" argument that he uses when his ridiculousness is pointed out, has left pitiful and gone to full blown pathetic! What if Trump made fun of the man? How many times have the dimbulbs, including their ***** "leader" obama, made fun of/insulted/endangered, the American people? In how many posts does beternnun do it? Why do lefties think they and they alone have the right to their opinions, and we're supposed to just read them and not respond?

Conclusion from all that rambling: You have no viable defense of  the despicable Trump's callous, uncivil, rude, and tasteless mockery of a handicapped person.

Beternnun thinks the lefties are the only ones allowed to "mock" people, and when accused of such, whether falsely or truthfully, Republicans are not allowed to defend/explain themselves. ========================================

Conclusion, it's not my place to defend him anymore than it's my place to defend your (beternnun's) despicable, callous, uncivil, rude, and tasteless mockery of everyone.
