Every cop in the US should take their badge off & walk away. More than ever before, they put their life in danger when they walk on the street or out on patrol, & most times not allowed to protect themselves.

The b**** used to be that the officers wouldn't go into certain areas. Now the b**** is that they do patrol those areas. You can't satisfy the cop haters. Decent cops will quit, and the cop haters will have a new breed of cop to contend with.

I was taught to respect law enforcement. We need them. it's unfortunate that there are police that take advantage of their position and don't treat the culprits fairly but law breakers can be dangerous people. I would rather them err on the side of keeping the rest of us safe.

No, chickie-pie, that was not a "mis-print." Note that HIFLYER made the same error both in the caption and in the text following.  "Loose" for "lose" is one of those regrettably common illiteracies seen on this forum (along with egregious misuse of pronouns!) and in many other places and reflecting the dismal state of English usage in this era of dumbed-down education.  I did a little forum search for "loose" and found scads of examples. Some gay groups started using the phrase as a counterattack and to dilute its offensiveness. If you call someone a derogative term and they start using that term themselves, it looses some of the punch. I still find the term offensive. It brings back bad....

I think the resturants in smaller towns loose business from the coffee drinkers in the morning. Fat Cats, Lillie Bells, Prestons; I think have all gone non-smoking. There are those country guys who love to talk, drink coffee and smoke.

Read which posts jt? Are you upset because no one is bashing the cops? Or are you upset because people are commenting that the extent of the lefty contendah's concern about two murdered police officers is that Hiflyer used 'loose' instead of 'lose'?

The two police getting killed in the line of duty was tragic. The ones that did it needs swift, harsh punishment.

What I was  referring to was the fact that most of the posts were attacks on other posters. To me, that just ain't the way it ought to be.

The Facebook posts were accompanied by a photo of her wearing a Subway employee’s uniform.

“Two police officers shot tonight in Hattiesburg,” read the post by someone who identified herself as C-Babi Denell Senshala and as Sierra McCurdy. “GOT EM,” it said later. The missives were supplemented by emojis depicting a handgun and laughter.

Subsequent posts referenced Baltimore, where six officers have been charged in connection with the death of a man in custody of that city’s police department. “No mercy,” said one post, in part.
