UNFREAKIN' BELIEVABLE!!! Someone needs to get up off his aspirin box and send some troops down there. Gun them down one-by-one as they cross the fence. I am normally a very peaceful person and think violence is a last, last resort but this is unacceptable!!! These people have nothing to offer our country but drugs and violence and they are draining us dry. Wake up Washington! Do something now before it's too late. Like a virus... they will just continue to spread.
We have NO security down at that border! Our military is always off somewhere else while the biggest threat is right there in front of our eyes. Scary isn't it?

It might also be a matter of politics. We can find 17,000 guardsmen for the gulf oil spill but only 1200 for the border.

Build the double fence, with barbed wire, lights, and tunnel detectors like we use on the Korean border. Station troops -- armed troops. If that isn't enough -- armed drones and landmines.

i just couldn't get over this when i watched it, i mean completely unacceptable!!! we should never be in a position where foreign drug lords shut down part of our country. of course, i'm of the opinion that we need to end the "failed" war on drugs, legalize marijuana, regulate and tax it just like alcohol. that would put a huge dent in this crap. you would still have issues with things like cocaine, opium, meth, etc. but most of the stuff coming out of mexico is marijuana.

Don't seem to remember this level of outrage when the same thing happened four years ago. I agree that something should be done, but where are we going to get the troops? Might I add that it has been closed since 2006. This is not a recent development

I believe careful legalization of marijuana is the way to go. Never used the stuff, never will. But, making it illegal causes more problems than its worth.

I don't think that word means what you think it means. To review, you want the government to gun down illegal immigrants because they're "like a virus." If you really believe what you wrote then you're a horrible person, and people like you poison the debate on this important issue.

The FEDERAL government is guilty of dereliction of duty, failure to protect and preserve the U. S. Constitution,extreme cowardice...just for starters.
This is like ignoring a raging infection...it is only going to get worse. Time to fight fire with fire.
Our govt. is too busy protecting Afghanistan/Iraq to protect the US citizens.
