The non-partisan Congressional Research Service's report, "U.S. Fossil Fuel Resources:

Terminology, Reporting, and Summary," shows that the US's reserves are much larger than the government claims.  Between the EPA working in collusion with the environmentalists and the left, no wonder we aren't using our own resources.

We need more people telling the truth.  Good Job

The strategic oil reserves are meant to be used in am EMERGENCY. High gas prices do NOT constitute an emergency. If we use them now, and then at some point in the future there is an attack on this country which causes a disruption in supply, you would all blame Obama for releasing this oil now.

As a matter of fact, if he did release this oil now, you would blame him for NOT saving it for a true emergency. The more I read from some of you ultra right-wingers, the more I realize it is not Obama's POLICIES you hate, it is the man himself. Admit it, no matter WHAT he does, you just plain hate him.

O No, I don't think he is talking about the strategic fuel reserves. He is talking

about the reserves of fossil fuels that remain untapped in this nation. Read his

links. Also, not that I think Obama should release any of the reserves, this is a

national emergency. This economy is going down, food is going up, fuel is

going up, were not getting the jobs promised by Obama. Were in a world of s@*#.

If we don't act now on these reserves and stop devaluing the dollar, we may never

recover.

The study is about developed fields and undeveloped fields of petroleum and gas in the US, to include the off s*h*o*r*e fields. It's not about the manmade reserves in the salt domes.

The US has vast amounts awaiting development, if government would get out of the way.

The filter censored s*h*o*r*e.  Goodby to any reference to Gulf S****s.
