Thank you for making this post, YG. I know that some of us have known since it happened, but just did not know how to put it into words on here. You always have such a good way with words, hun.

Mrs. AA, I am so very sorry, once again, for your loss. My heart aches for your whole family.

AA was a wonderful man. He will be sorely missed by a lot of people, and NEVER ever forgotten.

*huge huge huge hugs to all of his family and friends*

My deepest condolences.

~Amanda
Its hard to explain how one person, most of us only met on a few occasions, has come to mean so much to us and whos death has struck such a cord in both mine and Geddon's lives. My heart goes out to Mrs. AA and their children. He was very young and this was very sudden. They need our prayers and thoughts and for those who feel the call to contribute your donations will be well received.
I have to echo what Pickler and EM said. Although I only got to meet and talk to AA once in person, he was just one of those folks that you could talk to easily. And he would go out of the way to help anyone in need. He touched a lot of peoples lives in ways he probably didnt even know. A better family man, husband, father and friend you could not find. My thoughts and prayers to the family in their loss.

yankeegramma.....can you put the information about that trust fund on this thread?..... It is fitting for everyone that talked to him to know details..... I could be wrong but I think this sounds important?.....
This is so sad Frowner I have known Sammy since high school years. We have been close friends ever since. Was out of touch for a few years, then we re connected after finding out our identity's on this forum. We have recently been in contact with each other a couple of times and I was devastated last Saturday to hear that he had a sudden sickness.
The funeral for my friend will be at 2pm today at Elkins east. May you rest in peace AA.
I only meet "Appalachian American" but twice and he was a very nice person.

Those we meet along life's journey don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Those we meet remains with us and cherished memories never fade, for as long as there is a memory they are still part of us, not never gone, just moved on.

If we never meet again, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDlAXKIPR30
I am one of the many who didn't know him personally, enjoyed reading his posts and feel sorrow for the family he has left behind. What gets me just a touch more than the loss is the outpouring of affection on here. My thoughts are with his family and kudos to everyone here for showing that at the end of the day, we're human and no matter how we disagree there are just a few things that tie us all together. The brevity of our time here is but a regrettable one. May we all take from the way AA has touched so many lives through here and strive to live our lives in such a manner.

Aa' i'sul nora lanne'lle.

If anyone wants to help his family, donations may be made to a trust fund set up in memory of Mr. Sammy Tidwell at any Bank Independent.

Thnx for putting the trust fund in here for Sammy Tidwell.... I am sure to be by there myself...... and a few family members.... and friends too.....
