Contact "All Animal Clinic" down near White Oak. J.B. is a great guy. Tell him what is going on and try and get a better price.
We have a stray dog that ADOPTED MY MOM and me and we had her spayed a few years ago. We started using Dr. Gilbert then and really like her and her staff. We take our dog who turned out to be much LARGER than we thought she would be in about every two weeks for them to bathe her. Our dog is very very shy because she was so mistreated before we got her...someone had actually shot her we found out through X-Rays that Dr. Gilbert has done. You will really like all of them there. Our dog will not just bond with anyone and she will just go in and be just happy with the man that bathes her like he's one of the family. Hope this helps-Good Luck with your cat.

I have used Dr. Gilbert (Gilbert Animal Hospital) for quiet a while now. She is great and her staff is very friendly. She spayed our cat a couple of months back and it was around $100. Her office is located downton on Tennessee St. This used to be the office of Dr. Gravalee. I know you would be very pleased with her.

she takes GREAT care of my babies too. very friendly, compassionate, and reasonable.
There is some female Vet. out in Central (I believe) I would avoid. A friend who suffered from Alzheimer's took a his own little pure bred collie down there and asked them to put the dog down. She took the money and euthanized the dog. The mans wife called and asked why they would do such a thing? The Vet. replied, "he had the money, I put the dog down." My friend said, "yes, but you know he has Alzheimer's." The Vet. knew the couple. She knew he was ill. She put down a perfectly healthy little puppy. I will NEVER recommend her and will tell EVERYONE who will listen about the incident.
i agree with roddy, center star is not a good place to go. they may treat you nice for a long time, and then you will get the weirdo treatment.

i use the connollys on 72 near bellemeade 757-5376. they are excellent; their staff is, too.

i have also used dr. hammond in loretto (who i have been told is the brother of that weird one down in center star, but you could never tell it). dr. hammond in loretto is very nice and reasonable. his place is called 'all animals', too. 931-853-7127.

i cannot give a good recommendation for jubb in central. have had bad dealings and heard of even more with her.
I had my pet dog of 10 years get hit and killed, was one that Dr. Bill had seen many times. I went in and told him what had happened and started to tear up, he imminently comforted me. He then told me when I was ready he would he would do all he could to help me find another pet if I choose to do so. That meant so much to me and I’ll never forget. As far as I’m concerned, he’s the only vet around.
