I would like to get some of you to check this out, I buy Groceries at Wal-Mart and when I get home I will take the cash register tape and my Calculator and check out the numbers and they, Wal-Mart, always come out ahead before taxes about 80 to 90 cents, before my retirement I had a job that I used a calculator all the time so I don't think that I am too dumb to use the Calculator and it is a pretty good calculator that I use, I don't believe that it is that, if everybody that goes through the line gives them 80 t0 90 cents that is a lot of money in a days time.

some of you check on it and let us know.

Please allow Me to "enlighten" you all.
First, before you begin your shopping experience at the "Peoples Republic of WalMart", gather up ALL of the flyers that arrive in the form of the "Courier Journal"...you know?
The "Big Star" "Southern Family Market" "FoodLand" ads...showing the "sales".
Wad those flyers up, under your arm.
Proceed to load you "buggy" up at said PRoW.
When you are ready to check out...search the counters for the...most tired looking, or College aged "kid" working the cash register. Wave the flyers.
Each time an item is checked...tell Him/Her that they advertise they will "match" the price of a competitor...
which is....39 cents for a pound ground beef...14 cents bread...etc..."3 For a Dollar" dozen eggs.
They NEVER check it out! They just "ring it in"...well, why NOT ring it in...complete the shift, and go home? The Guy "behind" you pays the difference. And if He aint keeping up with the tab...He's got "money to burn".
Kept my "lectricity" on for years now.
DisHonest? No...survival.
WalMart will re-coup it on that set of tires they sell some idiot.
I have been there enough to know what everything costs and the price is right on the tape and I use different registers and me and them never get the same balance. never have coupons or matching ads just about the same thing every week, makes you wonder if the register is programmed that way, that would pay the persons opearating wages. NAH wallyworld wouldn't do that.

Cage, do you order merchandise sent to vacant lots or to unoccupied houses? This was a neat trick the hippies used. I did not - too old for hippies, too young for you - and honest enough for me! I just thought I might make you aware of this manner of creative stealing! I might add that I always check out with that lovely Barbara at Walmart and, again, I would never lie to her!

No, earthmomma,
I order COD, then on the expected delivery day, I dress my little Gran'Boys up in rags, no shoes, with dirty faces, and unkept hair.
Then! when the delivery man arrives, he feels so sorry for them, that he just gives them their "new shoes" and pays the cost himself!
Sheeeesh...
Cage, when you steal, the difference is not just made up by those who have "money to burn". It is also made up by people who are struggling to make ends meet, just like yourself.

That said, I think you probably just like getting people riled up. Wink You likely do not do the things you have mentioned or at the very least do not get away with it. I have been questioned when asking Wal-Mart to price match numerous times, either due to their opinion that it is not apples to apples or it is first time the cashier has heard the advertised price. Since none of them were raised in a barn, they'd immediately be suspicious of the prices you gave. Smiler JMHO
I did have an E-mail with pictures of Cargo Ships (5)that MAERSK was building for Walmart to bring all their trinkets from china and the rest of the world, it said that they were 1382 foot long and could carry (I may be wrong I have been once before) but I believe it said 15000 of them shiping containers each, that is longer than an aircraft carrier, but we must keep Wallyworld supplied.
