Wisconsin voters have snubbed the candidate endorsed by Walker for state supreme court justice. 20 counties that voted for him selected a liberal candidate which will have the deciding vote on the legal status of Walkers anti-union law.
quote:
As further proof that Governor Walker and his party are in for a very bad year, we can look to the election for Milwaukee County Executive, where Democrat Chris Abele destroyed the Republican candidate Rep. Jeff Stone (an assembly member who supported the anti-collective bargaining law) by a margin of 61-39.

Abele wins the seat left vacant by none other than Scott Walker who left the job to become the governor.

That’s what I call justice

So you want a judge that was elected by unions?

You speak of that as if it were a bad thing.

Union members make up the majority of voters able to elect candidates all on their own? Then why is Scott Walker attacking the majority of his citizens?

Oh, I forgot. Scott Walker is carrying out the will of a minority of his citizens, AKA corporations, and some who aren't even citizens.
Koch, anyone?

Would love to see the proof of that statement, or do you make these things up all by yourself?

Well prop are you even reading what your writting? Listen to yourself. Are you saying that the union members elected Walker?

All on thier own? As far as unions go they are a bad thing. Not the members. Just thier unions. These members are required to pay dues to work in certain states. And then the unions give Millions of dollars to democratic canidates no matter what the members want. Kind of like taxation without representation.
These unions dictate to state and local gov'ts what will be. Even when the states and local gov'ts are bankrupt. The @#*! with the taxpayersa that are paying for everything. Prop try not to counterdict yourself in the future.

The more I read your stuff, the more I'm convinced you don't have a clue about what is being discussed.

Unions operate in accordance with a contract that has been negotiated via a collective bargaining process. Unions only get what has been agreed upon.

You're beginning to embarrass yourself. Perhaps you should read a book or something.

Opey please,

take a reallity check. Our gov't(states and the fed. gov't) are bankrupt. You talk about legal contracts. What about the legal bonds(GMC) that were written off by the Obama adm.? What about those poor saps that lost thousands, hundreds of thousands of dollars. As employees of companies and corps. have to
re-nogotiate to keep thier jobs. I think that if the general public have to tighten thier belts, take cuts, reduce benifits. Why not the gov't union employees?
Why should we as taxpayers have to pay for these ridicules contracts that should be void? Why should I as a taxpayer have to contribute to union coffers? The same unions that contribute to democrates and only democrates. If we can't break the contracts or at least get honest nogotiations. If that dose not work. Pull a Reagan and fire the hole lot and start over. These are serious times that need serious measures. And for you ope do you actually believe you would be free without our military?(another topic post) Talk about not having a clue. Confused

The solution is not to take unions away from public sector workers, but to give them back to private sector workers who want them. And if you don't want them, well, that's the bed you've made.

Put two thoughts in the same post and confusion abounds.
Prosser, 68, was down by a mere 204 votes in the initial statewide vote count from Tuesday's election, and a recount was expected. But on Thursday, Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus said not all of her county's votes had been reported on Tuesday due to "human error." The revised numbers gave Prosser a boost of more than 7,000 votes.

The Union trouble in Wisconsin had NOTHING to do with balancing the state budget. They had EVERYTHING to do with destroying Unions and, therefore, winning elections. And based on the election of two days ago, it is failing. If you have paid any attention at all, you know that this is true.

Why do you think the unions fight so hard against right to work laws? I'll give you a hint, it's not because workers are lining up to join. Unions are dying and would already be gone except for the laws in states where you must join a union to get a job.

Might want to check the news jimmy boy, there's been an update in the count.
Investigation Into Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus Begins

Agency Will Not Certify Court Race Until Probe Of Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus Completed
http://dekerivers.wordpress.com/2011/04 ... completed/

The clerk is a criminal who stayed out of jail by copping a plea deal. Her former boss was -- you guessed it -- Prosser!

Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Says He Won Election Based on Count Mistakes Made By Clerk With Criminal Record Who Used to Work for Him

The clerk involved in the miscounts has a criminal record and has been the subject of past investigations related to her professional integrity in the performance of her job duties:

Nickolaus was given immunity from prosecution in a 2002 criminal investigation into illegal activity by members of the Republican Assembly caucus where she worked as a data analyst and computer specialist. Prosser, who as speaker of the Assembly in 1995 and 1996 controlled the same caucus, was not part of the investigation. Nickolaus resigned from her state job in 2002 just before launching her county clerk campaign.

The corruption probe took down five legislative leaders, all of whom reached plea deals…

Certainly there will be an audit. However, the 14,000 plus votes couldn't be invented from whole cloth. Either they voters exist, or they don't. Same for the results. A few hundred votes may be manipulated in several precincts, Lord knows the Democrats in Chicago have done it for decades, but thousands -- NO!.

Grasp another straw as you sink in the swirling whirlpool, as the handle is pulled!
