1. The Michigan job isnt open.... they have a coach. For now anyway.
2. His "stuff" is in Tuscaloosa.
3. Theres a term called "coach speak" Tubby used it while at Ole Sis. He wasnt leaving there. Remember?
4. Provide the link were Coach Don said that. He may have but in any case he was taking up for his son.

Everyone realizes that coaching is a profession, right? I mean if you are negotiating to change jobs you usually don't share this with your current employer. Even if Saban decides to leave, that's his choice, just as it was Tuberville's choice to leave Ole Miss. Can't blame him, I would have left MS too...and did at one time.
FYI Saban took a paycut to come to Bamaquote:Originally posted by NashBama:
You never tell your current employer that you're looking for another job.
Sabian was still in the middle of the season when talk about him going to Alabama came up. Reporters asked him point blank and he had no choice but to be vague about it. How can he expect his players to do their best if they know he's leaving? Once the season was over, he made his announcement and went with the bigger pay check. Who wouldn't do that?
What this has to do with anything, who knows. If Sabain can't beat Auburn, he'll be out on his butt as well.
