You Democrats and Right Wing folks that always complained about Bush and the Republicans trying to intercept phone conversations overseas in the name of National Security? I seem to remember the outrage from the national media and Democratic politicians during those days.
What, now, no condemnation of the Obama Administration and his Homeland Security folks what with the physical assault searches at the Airports? Here we have children being felt up and all kinds of atrocities being done to our citizens, in the name of our security, yet we can't profile Middle Eastern folks? ... Why should we? After all it's these normal American looking folks that hijacked the planes and flew them into the buildings .. no wait that was Radical Muslims of Middle Eastern decent. Well it was a Christian man that went in and shot up the military base killing all those recruits, no wait it was a middle eastern radical muslim type guy. What about the underwear or shoe bombing attempts surely those were jews or white conservative Americans or women. Well somewhere in there is justification for what our government officials are doing to us.
Gee I guess somewhere in there is the rationale in molesting old ladies, pilots and stewardesses since so many of them have hijacked planes and are threats. Umm wait again. At least we can say we are friends to the Muslims and we aren't profiling anyone. We can hold our heads up high as we turn them (our heads) and cough. Maybe what these TSA agents are doing is a physical exam for our benefits.
Hey all this is under you Democrat's control and Administration so where is the outrage now from all these Right wing folks that are so concerned with our civil rights and personal freedoms?
Can anyone with over a second grade education imagine what the national media outcry and liberal and right wing outcry would be if it was Bush in office?
We hear about the calls criticizing the citizens that organize under a banner called the Tea Party but when Bush was being bashed, while in office, it was patriotic rights and being patriotic to criticize our government officials or so Hillary Clinton even said in an interview (before they got into power).
At least our Judicial and Justice Departments are fast on the job these days keeping out all the illegals and threats from our Southern Border. No wait that's suing the state of Arizona for passing a law to strengthen their ability to enforce the laws that are on the books. Does anyone else see the lunacy in all this? I mean compare what we are allowing to come through our Southern (or any) borders unchecked and unchallenged yet look what crazy things we are doing to children and ordinary American Citizens in our Airports.
Just wait till they start policing these radicals online for daring to say what I have here in this post. Guess I'll be destined for some camp where I can be taught to conform and be a model citizen in the new United Police States of America.
