I can remember years ago how the house my grandmother and grandfather had was filled with rooms that had wallpaper on the walls and even the ceiling. Then I remember the period where if someone walked in a home and saw wallpaper then it had to come down and be replaced by paint or some other covering.  My wife loves to watch the home repair shows and flip type shows and one thing I'm noticing more and more is that Wallpaper is making a comeback today.

Just like many other things, there seems to cycle for various things that come and go.  In Vogue one moment in time and taboo in the next.  Whether it is carpet on floors or ceiling fans what's desirable in one moment of time is destined to be replaced and hated in another moment of time.  Another thing that passed away as time went on is woodgrain and textured wall paneling and still today many consider it horrible.  So I'm wondering is paneling destined to make a comeback?   Never say never.

Give it another 20 years if that and I'll bet it will make it back to being in Vogue.

Remember also how appliances used to be popular in coppertone (dark brown I think) and then there was that awful weird green color that I can't remember the name of.  Saw it on the Brady show to.

It'll all come back around sometime you'll see.  I'm still waiting to see the station wagon again but doubt I'll live to see that.
