Hi OK,

You tell us, "There seems to be no one agreed upon theory as to the beginning."

Actually, my Friend, there is a very clear history of the Creation.  It is found in Genesis 1-3 and begins, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

And, it makes much more sense than believing that the universe always existed -- or that some mysterious small object, hanging in an even more mysterious space -- suddenly exploded (the Big Bang) and created the trillions of stars and planets in the billions of galaxies.   The Big Bang explanation would stretch the imagination of even the most faithful Twilight Zone fans -- to the breaking point.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Oh I agree with the Genesis account of creation it’s clear to me that God spoke things into existence.

Really it is the only eyewitness account.

These other theories such as the one in the video are numerous and inconsistent as to being agreed upon by the scientific community.

No thank you. The 6k package with instructions is good enough for me.

Hi all,

OK tells us, "Oh I agree with the Genesis account of creation it’s clear to me that God spoke things into existence.  Really it is the  only eyewitness account.  These other theories such as the one in the video are numerous and inconsistent as to being agreed upon by the scientific community.  No thank you. The 6k package with instructions is good enough for me."

And, Gnu responds, "oku = low standards"

Well, just between you and me -- since Creation and Young Age Earth are God's standards -- I will go with them.  Matter of fact, I would bet my eternal life on them -- although our salvation is by grace, through faith -- and not how we believe about the Creation.   Yet, knowing that God is, always was, and always will be in control makes it all so much easier to understand.

Earlier, I had written, "And, it (Creation) makes much more sense than believing that the universe always existed -- or that some mysterious small object, hanging in an even more mysterious space -- suddenly exploded (the Big Bang) and created the trillions of stars and planets in the billions of galaxies.   The Big Bang explanation would stretch the imagination of even the most faithful Twilight Zone fans -- to the breaking point."

Winston replied to that, "Could this be that there was no mysterious small object, but when God said, 'Let there be light'?"

Winston, that gets my vote!  No extremely dense object hanging in a nonexistent space -- which explodes and creates trillions of stars and planets in billions of galaxies.   But, instead God who said, "Let there be. . ." -- AND THERE WAS!

Isn't it amazing how our atheist and secular Friends will create really way out, unbelievable stories -- in their attempt to explain away a perfectly viable, true story of how God created the heavens and the earth?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

There is a very clear story of creation in the Bible, which happens to be a beautiful allegory.   It was written before the understanding of simple things, like the earth revolving around the sun, and not the other way around.  The whole 6k year chronology is an exercise in pinpointing the age of the universe, first tried before such things as the speed of light was known, or that our sun is the same thing as all those other specks of light called stars.  The whole idea of planets was a foreign concept. Much of the Bible is written this way, even Jesus uses parables.

We now know that the universe is billions of years old, and that early philosopher/scientists didn't have the tools to make such a calculation.   Since Genesis is at best an incomplete history of the Jewish people, using it to calculate an accurate timeline is just misguided.

Don't let the cultist Young Earthers misguide you.  Such nonsense is required for their limited, distorted view.  Their worship of the Bible requires that they try and fit the square peg of science into the round hole of religion, or else their whole belief system falls apart.   They have to deny all science that disproves a literal interpretation of the Bible, and in doing so remain in ignorance as to both the workings of science, and the real message of the Bible.

If you want to read enlightened, scholarly religious writings on the matter, I'll point you toward the Scholastics, and more specifically toward the writings of Thomas Aquinas.   They solved the problem of coexistence between the Bible and science centuries ago, which means that the Young Earth nutcases are at least that far out of date.

The bible is a book  of legends and old tales.....some of them very beautiful, but we should not believe in them as being true.  Especially in the old testament, a very vicious telling of things that may or may not have happened. Remember the old game played in grammar school. One person starts a story and it is passed around. That is possible how the old testament came into being. A collection of old tales meant to entertain children.

Trust me niles, I have personally researched every credible opinion dating back to the nineteenth century.

I have read and studied the papers lectures and interviews of all scientist that any argument can be based on. The only common thread is the admission that we really don’t understand the quantum world. Arguments are inconsistent and without fabrications the big bang is simply a fictitious point from which to argue in the same way we use BC.

I Have no problem admitting I am wrong about any scientific position. Even a bigbang. I have sense enough to know that that point of origin can never be proven and only argued. I understand how science works. Trust me my understanding goes light years beyond the deep fats and his fan club.

I’m not including you in that crowd of misunderstanding. It is very possible and likely you know more than myself.

This is why I recommend the 6k package with instructions. It has all the properties these alternate arguments don’t have. It’s first-hand, concise w/simple instructions and actually gives clues to the quantum world in indis****ble terms if on needs to go there.

The atheist empty heads on here want to argue that God is responsible for world hunger. that’s not true.

Science is starving the very minds of which could have conquered diseases that are killing us with false priorities. Feed the masses of starving people who can be brilliant minds of science then build the Large Hadron Colliders and space probes. Enough is enough. Feed the starving world first.

Best, ever since you told me where you lived and operated a business I take note on the way to my daughters house in Huntsville of the businesses . There are a few massage parlors a fortune teller, a couple gas stations

Well, which massage parlor does your daughter work in? I'm not familiar with them, so I have no idea which way you're taking when you come to Huntsville. Or could it be that the massage parlors and fortune teller, the two gas stations are what you pass when you're leaving the "dog patch" town where you live? And you old fool, if you think for one second I'd give you the name of my business you're even nuttier than I thought. Not sure how that's possible.

Why would you want to "take note" of where she lives & where her business is? Your post has the tone of a stalker.
