Handy Festival has been going on now for over a week, and I haven't seen a post from anybody on anything associated with it.
Wife and myself have been going out every night enjoying the music, but I'm beginning to party out , but I'll make it through Sat night,
Have any of you been doing anything to enjoy the festivities ?

i've not really went out, i did however just get back from Fatboys for lunch and there was a guy there playing solo on acoustic and he was dang good, played alot of Clapton. would've liked to of seen Lynam and Second Creek but i cherish sleep a little too much i guess. I am riding in the Handy 100 bike ride in the morning though. should be fun.
I'm hip on the too hot thing. That's why I only go out at night . A good cool watering hole with a good band is good entertainment for me. Maybe the fact that I'm retired and don't have to get up early to go to work contributes to my being able to go out during the week as well.
I really do enjoy Handy Week.

I went to see 2nd Creek Wednesday night at the opening of the new "Sandbar" club/restaurant/sports bar, whatever it's going to be. I love 2nd Creek though. Go see them whenever I can! I also went to Ricatonis for lunch the other day and there was a guy playing Christian Turner. Never heard of him but he was very good!

I really enjoyed the Handy Fest back in the college days but that was YEARS ago. It seems now that life is so cram-packed that it's hard to fit any extra in... but wish I could. I would especially love to hear Kent DuChaine again. He was always one of my faves!

I used to love Ken DuChaine! I first saw him quite a while ago when I was a little girl my parents took me to see him and I fell in love!! I was probably 10 or 12 (am 28 now) and for some reason developed the biggest crush on him! I havent seen him in a long time though. My dad ended up buying me one of his cassette tapes after the first time I saw him because I loved him so much(I believe at Pegasus). I always remembered he was so good.
