Oh honey child I have five girls! Drama, drama, drama

Well then I have nothing on you, lol. I'll take my one girl, but sometimes those twin boys of mine can whine like four girls!!! You win the prize for raising five girls. Wink
Roll Eyes Mine are only seven, but they fight constantly. If one says its black, the other says white. They love each other tremendously, but fight all the time. And their sister fights with them too. No one sides with anyone, its to each his/her own. But they take up for each other. They get along so well with others, so at least they act right in all the right places, church, school, etc.... But at home, its like a zoo. I'll put it this way, it is a never-ending adventure here, and we say often they are still in their terrible two's. Every thing they play with, they destroy, especially one twin. I call him Mr. Destructo.... And they are total opposites. One is quieter, serious and has a bad temper like his father used to have, and the other one is so funny, cracks jokes all the time and always wears a smile, like me. We'll have to start a forum on twins and the things they do.

I have one. Because I didn't want two! Zann, I don't know how you do it and stay sane. Didn't you say you have 6??? Please tell me some are old enough to do laundry, dishes, and make their own grilled cheese!

Well I joke alot but the truth is I am blessed.God knows I am not sane so he blessed me with wonderful children. They get along great(80%),they are all smart, giving, caring, loving and we have the best time.My ten year old daughter and my five year battle alot, but that's because they both wanna be the boss! Our enjoyment is being with our kids at home, spending time together. We just hang out, have bonfires, watch movies and talk. I enjoy teaching my kids things and I would rather them be here than anywhere. And that's the truth.I am very honest with them so they all come to me for everything and you should hear some of it I could write a book. Well anyway, they can cook a little as for cleaning yeah right..I have to threaten the duct tape with that one....5 girls 1 boy(really 2 my husband)
I admire you Zann. Sounds like you are doing a great job raising those children. I love my kids so much. That is why I quit my hospital job to stay home with them, and all the work I do now for the hospital is out of my home Wink There is nothing like being a stay at home mother. Sure the world looks down on us, but it is SO rewarding, and so beneficial for them to have a parent who is always home for them. I would not take a job out of the home making twice what I do now, because nothing compares to me being able to be here for them. Smiler Smiler Smiler

i was a stay-at-home mom till my boys were nearly grown..it was more rewarding than anything else i've ever done..my sons are grown now, we are very close, and i believe those bonds were strengthened while we were at home together..i was so blessed to be able to stay home with them all those years..i absolutely know now, that it was priceless...
Well, since I graduated with about 60 people, I might as well give out my full name if I post where I graduated from & the year. LOL

I will give the year though...1986. Maybe that catchy chant thing was a larger school thing because I don't remember one. Our class motto was a poem written by yours truly. I was so proud of that. I had close to zero self esteem at the time & was so shocked that my work was chosen.Smiler It was voted on by high school teachers and my class.

I was part of the class that finally forced Billy Valentine out - '93.

TSC~ Are you a graduate of 1993, also? If you went to Rogers & graduated in 1993, then you know some of my family.

HOORAY! for the class of '93!!!
Come to think of it that's the year my brother graduated!!
This is for the ones that graduated from Rogers from the late 90's on....
My son was in the mulit- handicapped class (Janice Curtis) until he graduated in '02.... so for the ones that were in school while he was there i just want to say a BIG Thank You!
I was always very impressed with the way the students accepted and helped the ones in the handicapped class. You were always willing to help out and assist and it did not go unnoticed by the teachers or the parents.
From cheering for them during Special Olympics to keeping an eye on them in the lunch room and hallways.... Pirates are the best!
