I get the white, but nationalist? someone that supports their country? when did supporting your country become a bad thing? If democrats are anti nationalist doesn't that make them anti USA?
Progressives and Demmies tend to be globalists. Letting the UN run the place is the most ridiculous of beliefs. About 140 of the nations are kleptocracies. The UN leadership itself is extremely corrupt. The UN and EU run neck and neck for corrupt leadership.
I think that nationalist is not that bad an 'ist to be called; I would think that all patriots would be nationalists at heart. I also suppose that there have been more than a few members of other races who love their country as well, so Black, Asian, and Native nationalists are all a good thing too as long as we're all promoting our Constitutional US government.
I have long suspected that our internationalist (Communist) "friends" in the Democratic party ('fa-ha-ha-ha) really want to break the country's back with an unsustainable welfare system. I suspect that the "Medicare for all" crowd hopes changing the health care industry from being a highly goobermint regulated corporatist industry to an absurdly regulated inefficient socialist enterprise will eat the defense budget so the US can't "bully" the rest of the world.
Definition of nationalism
: loyalty and devotion to a nation; especially : a sense of national consciousness (see consciousness 1c) exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups Intense nationalism was one of the causes of the war.
: a nationalist movement or government opposing nationalisms
I prefer either American nationalist, or economic nationalist. Steve Bannon may have initiated the latter description, but it fits. And, can fit for any person of any nation. When one reads the writings of the founders, one sees that they were all for growing the industry and, in general, the internal economy.
I have been lamenting the same thing I guess I am a White Nationalist and a proud one. First I can't help being white and refuse to feel bad about it no matter what the media promotes. Second, I expect my leaders to look out for America and it's citizens first, then the rest of the world. I am not saying hurt the rest of the world simply put America's interest first and if that helps others good. I would think being anything other than a Nationalist would prevent you from being a elected member of our government as the oaths require one to out Americas interest first.
