I have just been noticing the massive building that is being built there, and all of the heavy foundation work that they have been doing the past few months on the Florence side of the bridge. Does anyone know what is being built there?

Too bad Mr. Rollison won't get the dry storage complex completed until it's not needed--in the Fall.  You'd think he'd have staged construction to be completed about now.

And a little advertising and marketing would also help fill up the racks.

What I'd like is something to eat on the water--and gas pumps.  We really miss the old Marina Mar to cool off in.

Our marina facilities are ridiculously slim for so many people being in the area.  Norris Lake, 25 miles north of Knoxville, has 18 marinas, some of which are full line resorts.  And they have a bunch of floating houses.

In Lawrenceburg tn, there is a east fork shoal creek and a west fork shoal creek.  After they flow togather, the name is Shoals creek.  Something else, a few years ago, someone built a house on Shoals creek.  There was massive news about this house and lot might be built on indian graves or there might be a civil war vet buried there.  Now there is enough dirt work done to build a shopping center and no news or objections.  What gives?

The marina that is the topic of this thread is located on a body of water that is officially named SHOAL CREEK. One "S" only, and that at the first.
