I was shopping in Florence(from Haleyville) today. We went to Ranchero in Tuscumbia to eat. when we got out of the car, I thought "phew". then I told my son "I don't think I want to eat here!" altho I have eaten there many many times. MY daughter -in-law explained about the chicken fertilizer. I was relieved that it wasn't "Ranchero's" thar smelled like. or a satisfied leaving customer

bamafan2,
I am worried about you. You need to see your family doctor right away! You may have serious and debilatating sinus infection!
Back a few years ago, I began experencing problems which led me to believe I had some infection or something serious going on in my stomach or colon. I was "breaking wind" ALOT.
constantly. every step I took, coughing, bending, in church, while talking to friends I ran up on in the stores, restuarants....
just constantly. thank goodness these expulsions of gas didn't make a sound. Silent as could be! And even better.... thank goodness they were odorless. No smell what so ever.
This continued so long I began to worry about my self so I went to the doctor and explained my problems and all my symptons to him. He gave me a prescription and told me to come back in 7 days.
well I took the pills just exactly like they were prescribed. Didn't miss a dose.
After 7 days I was no better. So, I went back to the doctor and told him that altho my symptons had changed , I was no better.. I explained that I was continuing to "breakwind"
constantly. However the expulsions were no longer oderless and had a terrible stench but thank goodless they were still silent, The doctor replied. "Mawbear, we now have your sinuses cleared up, we need to start
checking and working on your hearing."
You seriously need to check on yous sinuses if you couldn't smell that stench yesterday. May have an embarressing moment like me
I think that the fields like those on river road are being fertilized with chicken crap and on windy days like we have had the horrible smell travels a long way. I have a home close to these fields and the smell is HORRIBLE. Surely there is a law against stinking up two counties. If there ain't there should be.

Who is George Graybryan?

And, for the record, we're noticing it down here is Russellville, also. Although, I did not smell it today -- perhaps the rain got rid of it . . .
