I'm all for free things and would love to have free healthcare but I know that's not going to happen. Even if it did the healthcare cost I've got so far is enough to keep me paying for many years to come and possibly it will have to be my relatives that pay off the bills. That said there is a danger in all these promises and that is that almost everyone, even the ones who promise it, know that it's not going to happen.
The ones that don't know it are those that will take it all in hook line and sinker, so to say, and believe that they are going to have everything in life taken care of for them and everything will be free. Problem is that when they realize that nothing they were promised is going to happen they are going to be highly enraged over it and each party will blame the other but that won't matter to those who feel it is their right now to have it free and thus many will riot and create violence due to the gross injustice that they have endured.
Even if they could find a way to write off people's college debts then those that legitimately paid theirs off are going to want to get some kind of reparations or payback so they won't be penalized for doing right. Then where does it end? You can only tax people a certain amount before they leave and take their money elsewhere. The very people that they are proposing to tax the life out of are the most capable and able to move and leave the country. France is finding out that lesson today and as a result there are many people in France that are rising up and this is but the beginning because there is an underlying problem in France and that is the huge number of immigrants that they have opened their doors to. It's said that there are sections of Paris that the police are forbidden to go into, for their own safety.
I'm all for improving our situation and being prosperous and experiencing growth and economic freedom but I worry that in the process of trying to get voters to vote for them politicians are going to promise the world knowing that they can't deliver on it. But then I guess that's been happening for a long time now.
