'The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.'

'When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.'

'And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.'

'An elective despotism was not the government we fought for.' - Thomas Jefferson

Tie him to a couple of posts over a lake of alligators that have not been fed for days....adjust him so his head cannot be bitten first and he has to see, feel and hear the alliagators eat him alive....raise it up every few minutes so they can't eat him all at once...yes, we all know I'm the sick one when it comes to cruel punishment on here...that would be appropriate to me....

The state will give him the death penalty -- he will drag out his appeals like he dragged out his first trial by firing lawyers and representing hisself...they'll give him the needle and he'll claim it is cruel and unusual and all that crap and he'll die of old age in the prison....that is unless someone else decides to shank him first....

Yep Yep yep!!!! And NO, you aren't the only one on here who has these sorts of ideas dealing with scumbags.

My idea of how to deal with Susan Smith was to lock her in a car, and start EVER SO SLOWLY lowering it into the water, just half inch at a time.. until it was totally consumed... THAT would have given her some sort of idea what SHE single-handedly put her boys through.
Especially since everybody on this thread is outraged about the child.

I read a book once where this guy had been abusing his children not knowing that someone knew about it (she'd been abused herself). She picked him up in a bar, took him back to her house (only accessible by ferry across a lake), spiked his drink. When he woke up she had him hidden in a basement, tied to the bed, and slowly skinned him strip by strip by strip. Then rubbed sea salt into the skinned pieces.

Sounds like a plan.

Yes, especially, Vick... and especially since this isn't the ONLY time this has happened or similar things said...

No wonder the Nation thinks Alabamians are racists with people like Phoenix representing us!!! Pardon me while I go throw up!!!

PR -- until you told me, I didn't know the little girl was black -- I was outraged that it was achild regardless...
As well we all should. This is the first I've head the story and the man was just convicted. I'm a news junkie and it just struck me as odd. I can't help but think had this been a little blond girl the trial would have been all over the t.v. and we would know the Judge by his first name.

I pointing out the inconsistency the media has in reporting such crimes. Just think of all the huge news stories in the last 10 years since Jean Benet Ramsey. What do they all have in common? All attractive, young, white women.

Why? Because the media is selling sex.

Here is a hint: "If you’re missing, it helps to be young, white and female"

I'm thinking Tyra Banks and Beyonce' would take issue with that one, PR, as well as males of all color who'd give their right arm for a date with either of them. Smiler

I had to pick on you a little, but I know where you are going with that. Poor and ugly of any color doesn't sell papers as quick as rich and beautiful regardless of the story. That is sad.
We all know he's right up to a point. As you know, I live in the Birmingham area. When that blonde chick from Mountain Brook went missing it was all over the news. And the magazines and the Psychic Investigator show, still. At the SAME TIME we had a black schoolteacher just disappear from his home. Gone, vanished, nada. Then about two weeks later we had a black woman on her way to work at one of the hospitals who had been talking on her cell phone minutes before just not show up for work or anywhere. Gone. About a week or so after that (while the Holloway thing was all you heard about) we had a black guy that worked at UAB and Princeton go missing. We worked with his mother (she was in the lunchroom) so we heard about him. NOBODY else heard a thing about him. All three of these cases were old news till months later the two men were found, one in a burned out vehicle, the other in some bushes. The woman has never been found. But we still hear about the other one. Even her mother makes People magazine when she's DATING Jon Benet's father. (How creepy is that?)

So true so true!!!!!! Please be sure of the people you bring into your childs life. You read all of these stories about boyfriends, friends step dads and moms beating, starving or sexually abusing children and it just makes you want to throw up. This baby is with God now and this man will have his day with God as his judge. Single mothers and fathers.........DO NOT PUT A MAN OR WOMAN OVER YOUR KIDS!!!...for fear of being "lonely" people look over character flaws in people that are really RED FLASHING WARNING SIGNS.

IF this was INDEED your intent on your first comment, then why didn't you just reply with the whole thing instead of trying to BAIT and LURE people into your 'web' of racism????

That is just not fair to handle a sensative post of this nature, ... to add the RACE to it...

Personally, if there are any Afro American people on this site, I want to personally say that PR speaks for himself here, and not for most of us!!!!!

This post was about a child being dropped off to be eaten by gators, while YOURS, even though horrific, seems to be being used for the sake of an argument.

Why didn't you make your own post if THAT WAS WHAT YOU MEANT???? Roll Eyes
Its clearly sarcasm Kindred and I think black people reading that would recognize it as such.

Thank you however for apologizing on behalf of the forum.

With regards to the conclusion that black, unattractive, old, poor women, and or men in general and not deemed as desirable isn't my opinion (except in the case of men) but this is simply how it is in the news and this story proves it. A sensational story but no sex to sell.

Personally I don't see how anyone could not get it (unless they just needed a little drama).

Phoenix, I think people are just tired of people playing the race card about every little teeny tiny thing. It's like the old story about Peter and the Wolf. At first you're outraged, then you sort of think it may be about race, then you ignore it, and finally you just think, "shut up".

I do agree with you about the "newsworthiness" of "pretty people". (See my comment.)
