there was a man and his wife ahead of me. he was buying alcohol. the cashier asked for id and asked for her supervisor, explaining to the man she is not old enough to sell the alcohol, someone of age must ring it up. the man got upset with her supervisor as well, started saying he was a cop with Killen (he was in uniform) and there was no reason to card him, he had his badge and they were idiots. he pulled his badge out and started getting very ugly with the young cashier.

So why did the girl have to get a manager to sell the alcohol if it's okay to sell when your under 21? Or did I misunderstand the law or miss something in the original post?
