I try to keep my pantry stocked just in case my husband's work slows down or he can't work because he is ill. Today, we drove to Russellville to stock up on canned fruit and vegetables,I always check the expiration dates on the cans-No Expiration Dates. How are we to know if the canned goods are still good,if there are No Expiration Dates? I will not be shopping there or anywhere else that doesn't have expiration dates on their canned goods. They always had the dates before and now they don't. What are they trying to hide?

This could be one method to help get around the problem. Read the Tuesday/Wednesday ads carefully. "Salt away" cash in a jar in the pantry. When items are on special use the money to buy ahead. For example When green beans, corn, etc. are 2/$1 buy several that week. Food World )(whatever) has Campbells Pork and Beans 4/$1 this week. Jack Daniels's barbecue sauce makes them into the greatest BBQ beans! I keep Campbell's tomato soup on hand for lunches and Chicken Noodle for being sick.(LOL). One day Walmart had them 4/$2. I was out there for Hebrew national weiners but was using my roving eye! The cream soups can also b picked up in this way sometimes! You do not need to go to Sav -a -Lot! Just use your salt money!
