this is acctually a little difficult for me.

if it's hot outside, i do not want hot food.
i love steak. a nice inch to a inch and a half thick strip, with just the right maranade, done over a grill till it's perfectly medium... it's hard to beat that. but when it's 105 outside and 85 inside, the last thing i want is a hot steak.

so - days that the temp is over 80 degrees = sushi. preferably a spicy yellowtail roll and a crunchy shrimp from rice box, or a california roll and a datama roll from osaka.

every other day of the year i'll take a steak and garlic bread. maybe a salad. potato optional if the steak is big enough.
You guys are killing me. Everything mentioned here is making my mouth water.

I mentioned this somewhere else, my second favorite is mac and cheese made my way.

I make a real good chedder cheese sauce, mix that in with ziti pasta in a full pan, cover that with extra sharp aged chedder and bake it in the oven.

I then eat it with real good home made brown gravy and Sweedish meatballs, lots of freshly ground black pepper.

That meal even tastes better the next day after it completely settles, I cut out a nice square piece, re heat it in a frying pan with a little butter. WOW, is that ever good

I have to run, I'm starving...
