I have an eclectic taste in movies but there are two that I have recently "discovered" thanks to a friend and they are hilarious, watch time and again kind for me. The movies are: "Sordid Lives" (Delta Burke, Olivia Newton-John) and "Waking Up In Reno" (Billy Bob Thornton, Patrick Swayze, Charlize Theron, can't remember the other actress' name).

WHEN HARRY MET SALLY

What is all the fuss about No Country For Old Men? We watched it last night and although the acting was good, the supporting characters were realistic but the ending was abrupt. I watched it because it won some awards but after seeing it, I didn't know why. Underdog was better.

The Notebook...I watched it twice last night.
My husband gave me a copy of that book with an engagement ring when he proposed. Said that was the kind of love he had for me...Ahhh, so sweet!

I was disappointed by No Country as well. It started out awesome, but seemed like the writers didn't know where to take it.

Acting was good, first half of the movie was great, but not worth watching. No idea why it won so many awards.

Never heard of Underdog, was it similar?
